Quick question - I thought you had to be within 10 levels for multiplayer, but I'm 197 and had someone help me in NG++ that's 180. Does it scale with higher levels (first time doing coop, so no idea)?

Some very important things missing from the patch notes:


Loading screens show item descriptions!!!
Forbidden Woods fence skip was fixed in the patch. (also the infinite echoes table-running bug/exploit)
Cannon costs 12 bullets to fire now (up from 10)
Choir bell costs 8 now (down from 10)
Old hunter bone costs 5 (down from 6)

Instead of reducing load times they should've patched the game to replace the loading screen image with a repeating loop of your last death specter set to a laugh track.

A while ago Vaati started a contest to see how many hunters (npc hunters) you could kill in 15 minutes -- Contestants would submit their videos, and the best ones would win prizes and have their videos shown.

5 friggin hunters in under 15 minutes.. people are insane!

ok. i have already mastered the first part (waiting for ranged, then overhead). unfortunately, he eventually gets into a zone where he just sort of marches at me endlessly and stops doing ranged attacks. at that point, he invariable crushes me. I'll try rolling towards his legs more... maybe that will stop him. i think maybe i try to roll behind him rather than towards legs, and it never does any good.

EdIT -- do i keep rolling till he's done? or just get near his legs and wait? get near his legs and slash? i'm getting smashed.

His last ~35% are definetly the hard part. It is hard to tell, most of the time I managed to roll inbetween his legs where his 'last' melee attack could not hit me. I am not saying it is save to stay there for long as he is going to try to stomp on you with his feet but most of the time it was enough for one quick hit.

Maybe this video is going to help you, the guy did it very similar to me.

If nothing else helps you can always do the ranged dance for his last 35%. Equip throwing knifes, molotoves and bone marrow ash. Keep on doging, stay far away from him and throw or use a ranged attacks whenever possible. There are some windows between his attacks if you try to keep your distance.

Coop range is +-10+((summonerslvl)*0,10).

Are guns worth upgrading aside from evelyn and cannon?

For PVP I'm getting really fast invasions, perfect time for that now. Don't know about coop but I'd assume it's also faster now and don't have to wait minutes to connect to your friend anymore.

Just use the blood dregs for the insight and spend it on items. That's a pretty good reward.
