Bloodborne release date moves to March 2015

I am upset!
Furious even!

The only thing that i don't like is that it's too close with the release of Type-0.Obviously Bloodborne is a priority so i guess i'll just play the FFXV demo and put Type-0 in my backlog for as long as i have enough with Bloodborne.

Although i could also see a delay for Type-0 happening lol.

Good enough for me. Hopefully it won't be yet another launch date shitshow now, plus I hate it when games are released right after the semester begins. I'll pick it up after midterms conclude.

No it was a mistranslation. They never said it was better for every action game, they only said its better for their own game.

And i'm more shocked if they were speaking about their own game. Dark Souls 1 and 2 are much better with 60 FPS so color me surprised about that.

That's fine by me, release it when it's ready.

I'm done with paying for incomplete un-optimized titles released to meet shareholder expectations that may or may not be patched later.

Fantastic!

I honestly wasn't overly happy with Bloodborne and The Witcher 3 being so close, mostly because both games will have some (however minor) overlap in audience and now this leaves February clear for The Witcher 3.

I'm such a fanboy, Jesus.

Playstation Experience, what will they announce there?

Demon's Souls HD, coming free packaged in with Bloodborne!!

I'm in a similar situation, I need more time before getting a Ps4 because of my backlog. I'm expecting Bloodborne to be like Demon's Souls for me - the game that makes it worthwhile for me to get the Playstation console that it's on.

There are a few current-gen games I'm interested in, but Bloodborne seems like the first game I'll be sad to miss out on, so that's going to be my catalyst for getting a PS4.

After both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls cut content so FromSoft can meet their strict deadline, I'm okay with this. February is already full with games anyway, so this is a wise move.

A bad news day special
A game releases the day before and performs horribly.

Bloodbourne gets put back a month and a half the next day.

People don't care because they want game to be good and stable

Everybody leaves internet happy.

Ubisoft gets a few more digs for not delaying and fixing horribly performing game.

The Order gets a bit of breathing room.

Seems the best compromise to optimize the game furtherly and let The Order 1886 and Witcher 3 have some room to breathe in February.
Wasn't there a thread here not long ago asking Sony to reconsider releasing both Bloodborne and The Order 1886 during the same month? Those people should be happy now :P

Unfortunate, but it makes sense. Releasing two major new first party 'AAA' IPs a couple of weeks apart was a dumb ass move, and it's not like they can risk another delay for The Order at this point I'm guessing.

I don't want to say I'm fine with this, but the reasons do make a lot of sense.

Hopefully Sony can push up The Order 1886 by about a week or so, would give me more time to finish it before Witcher 3 hits.

well they said it was target 30 so massive fluctuations in framerate is to be expected especially in combat.

I didn't notice massive fluctuations in the alpha, not even during the boss fight, I'd say the fps was better than last gen Souls games. The game just briefly freezed/hanged a few times.

Exciting Bloodborne news in early December?

Seems like every PS4 exclusive/timed-exclusive is going to have "exciting news" at the PS Experience event now...

Hopefully Sony can push up The Order 1886 by about a week or so, would give me more time to finish it before Witcher 3 hits.

Depends how much time you get to play every day, but I highly doubt The Order will be a long game. Probably your typical 10-15 Hour (Tops) Story based Shooter. Shouldn't be too hard to finish that in 4 days, unless you can't play that much per day.

I can live with that. But has a release date push ever resulted in something good? I only remember bad examples recently :(

I'm starting to like delays more and more. I'd rather wait than play a game with poor performance faster. It's like someone telling me they're going to slow cook a turkey instead of microwaving it. We have EA and Ubi to give us half assed soggy disappointment already, and I don't like my games chewy.

Sony finally realizes that releasing Bloodborne and Order on the same month was a stupid idea.

Feb as it is, is packed as fuck from both Japanese and Western developers, so this in my opinion is a good move, business wise.
