Has anybody here seen Seven Psychopaths? The movie opens with Arnold Rothstein and Jimmy Darmody :)

Anyways I don't get complaints about the last episode. I really liked it. I'm not saying it's as good but it did remind me a bit of The Sopranos with the focus on the actual family lives for once. And it was pretty damn interesting seeing Gyp with his haha.

I'm wondering how Richard will react to what Gillian did. I can see him being pretty unhappy with her making it look like Jimmy died from a heroin overdose in a bathtub rather than dying like a soldier. Goes back to the whole thing with Doyle taking credit for killing Manny and Richard not being able to stand it because it had to be understood that it was him taking revenge for Angela. Can't wait to see what he does next. Seems like they've been building towards him possibly killing Gillian for a while now.

Let's hope he succeeds.

It's on!

Man, so many good characters in just the first 10 minutes.

Gillian, Van Alden, Harrow, the butler. :)

Oh dear. This self-service abortion talk is incredibly uncomfortable. D: I love little children, and I want a woman to have the right of self-determination on this count, but still...

I know this show is about Nucky but does anyone else find the Van Alden / Capone stuff in Chicago way more interesting than Nucky and Margaret's storylines? Wish we would get a lot more Al.

You can't be half a gangster, for sure. But now (judging by preview) Nucky's going to have to be a half-dozen gangsters.

Re: Billie, Definitely got that kind of vibe from the whole episode. Didn't see it coming in such an explosive manner though, lol.

Too bad, every time I find myself especially liking a character on this show they immediately die. Harrow is the only constant for me, but he's just not in it nearly enough.

Such a slow episode, I don't know how I keep watching this show. Am I doing it right?

Noooooooooooo Billie. =((((

She was so hot. ><

The explosion was cool but how does Rosetti get the explosives that quick? I guess Gillian had them?

Van Alden finally losing his shit along with his wife's ride or die reaction was great. I'm a little bummed that there were a number of articles about the boardwalk explosion floating around when they filmed it a few months ago, so I knew that was coming towards the end of the episode. :/ Still a crazy scene, though.

Does anybody know where I can see the preview? My DVR cut off before it was shown.
Unfortunately, it's not up yet on youtube or HBO's website. I'll check again later and see if I can find it.

Didn't like the previous episode much, but loved this episode. The shows really gaining a full head of steam as the season starts to wind down, shits goin crazzzzzyy.

Wow. That annoying guy saved their lives.

The Rise of Capone and Van Alden is definitely the best storyline going on right now, but shit just got real in Nuckytown.

That's how I'm feeling. All of the new characters they've been introducing this season that I like are being offed.

Watch out Van Alden's wife!

Nah, Capone is the most interesting thing in the show.

Good episode tonight.

I think Nucky told Billie to "save herself" from the torture of having to converse with the annoying guy. Awesome.

I don't really understand what happened, though. Rosetti found out roughly what time Nucky and Rothstein would be in the restaurant, so he was able to rig up an entire building to blow before then? And he had it explode before it was even confirmed that they were in the building? It seems incredibly sloppy for someone who is able to secretly bomb a building on short notice.

Guh. I peek in the thread and hear the same thing Breaking Bad's Skylar and Mad Men's Bettie receive. Maybe I'll try a tv thread next year when Gaffers move beyond talking about how much they hate the most prominent female.

Homeland. That's your thread.

I haven't hated either of them. :p

The episode was alright, but there was something that didn't quite seem right.

I'd assume they set the fuse once Nucky came in sight at which point to bomb-guy got clear of the area. The unexpected delay messed things up.

Still kinda dumb though, I agree.

Well, there was no way Rosetti was actually going to take out any of the three gangsters at the restaurant so I saw something like that coming. If only he knew they had plot immunity ;) Enjoyed the episode a lot though, this seasons getting really good.

Yeah that isn't going anywhere. Death, taxes, and misogyny in TV-GAF.

Gillian used to be spared, but now she's "psycho bitch".
