I'd love it if this whole episode was Nucky's dream, and in it, every character is played by Margaret. Also, every extra walking around in the background is played by Margaret. And they change the title of the show from Boardwalk Empire to Margaret Margaret.

And then at the end of the episode we find out that Nucky is Margaret.

That's a pretty good idea for an episode. But they should call it boardwalk cheeldren

3 seasons of Margaret and the only line I remember from her is the cheeldren. What about the cheeldren
 
I'm all for Margaret if there is the plot to justify her still being on the show. I thought the hospital plotline in season 3 was very weak. Considering she has been absent from the first half of this season, I'm curious to see what they have for her, but I'm not exactly confident about it.
 
well Purnsley definitely going to died this season but god I hope nothing happens to Chalky
and look like there setting up Will to be Nucky next protege
I do wonder if Knox going to flipped or do something stupid after what Hoover did

I think Will will probably fuck up and get himself killed or seriously hurt somehow before that happens.
 
Margot Bingham is such a beautiful woman.

Margaret is such a hypocrite. Helping that guy scam people on a bad investment. Just another reason for me to hate her.
 
Just now catching up on last week's episode and this week's just now. Yay. Staying away for another 45 minutes...
 
I don't quite understand yet why Rothstein invested $150k into the scam, but great episode.

Also just as a tiny nitpick, I've been craving more Chalky White since the first season. He's had a ton of screen time this season, but unfortunately it's all been him standing in one place, staring. And now it's the predictable "relationship" with the singer. It's not really a big deal, but it's just not what I had in mind when I was hoping for more Chalky.

I assume he'll end up playing against some of those investments and schemes, perhaps with inside info from Margaret. It might be beneficial to have his alter ego be on the good side of that manager.
 
Anyone care to explain the whole Rothstein/Margaret phonecall? Why did he invest?
Anyway, this season has seemed really slow to me, moreso than usual. Hoping we get some excitement coming up, especially with the capone/o'banion feud.

I didn't quite see Dr. Narcisse dismantling Chalky the way he's been doing until this episode. I just assumed he lumped Chalky in with Nucky, but Nucky was the target. I need to start paying closer attention.
 
I have not enjoyed this season at all. Everything is so utterly dull and dour. Outside of Chicago there is really no spark left in the show. I guess they gave up on a harder edge Nucky they hinted at last season as he is as milquetoast as ever. I don't think Eli's son has done anything except mope from one scene to the next.

The villain is also terrible. That voice he does was comical at first, now it's just grating. At least Bobby Carnavale brought some energy to the show. I can tolerate a slow build but I don't even like most of the characters at this point. I'm surprised as S2 and S3 were so great.
