This has probably been touched upon, and I saw it asked a few posts up, but really, why is Mike pissed at Walt? I know he said something like, "Do you have any idea what you've done?" But we don't actually know why Mike would be pissed yet, right?

It's not like Gus and Mike were fishing buddies who really liked each other or anything. Mike was just an employee. So I'm not sure if there's any personal reason why Mike would really give a shit about Gus's death (except the lack of paid work).

It's also implied that Gus was the reason something was not happening. I'm guessing the Salamanca Cartel moving in.
Didn't see this before I posted.

I dunno. How about losing your job and being put at risk of being caught by police?

Not to mention, your job is defense, and your boss got killed? It's kind of your job to kill your boss's murderer, even if just for reputation, or personal integrity.

Yeah in addition to Gus essentially standing between ABQ and the cartel and what BocoDragon said, I do think they were a little bit friendly. Mike and Gus were always jointly dissatisfied with Walt's vicious and reckless schemes and this one was the most extreme yet.

Maybe I'm misremembering but I could swear I remember Mike telling Walt that he likes him when they met at that bar to talk.

Neh, he does not. He tells him to shut up 3 times or so and finish his drink. Pretty much all he says.

Oh, and of course smacking him in the face and thanking for the drink!

e: Damnit, starting to doubt now. Checking!

maybe it wasn't that scene but man I'm seeing it in my head. I remember a scene somewhere where Mike says "Look, I like you, so I don't want to have to do this" or something like that, paraphrasing of course. Maybe I'm crazy. I could swear it was the bar.

You are probably thinking of the S3 finale when he has orders to kill Walt at the laundry. Mike tells him he is just following orders and stuff and at that point it still does feel like he doesn't really want to do it.

That's the one. One of my favorite scenes of the entire show!

Oh yeah, that's what it is. Hmmm. :O

Madrigal Electromotive also has a hilarious website that you can check out right here.

But, they also have a blog with such enlightening posts as this:

For fun, see if you can make anyone fit into this diagnosis: 312.31. Does anyone you know really fit this diagnosis?

Last one, which might be interesting:

There is a pervasive pattern of disregard for the violation of the rights of others with three or more of the following:
I) Failure to conform to social norms with respect otlawful behaviors by REPEATEDLY PERFORMING ACTS THAT ARE GROUNDS FOR ARREST.
II) Deceitfulness, as indicated by repeated LYING, USE OF ALIASES, OR CONNING OTHERS FOR PERSONAL PROFIT or pleasures.
III) impulsivity or FAILURE TO PLAN AHEAD
IV) irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults
V) RECKLESS DISREGARD for SAFETY OF SELF OR OTHERS
VI) consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations
VII) Lack of remorse as indicated by being indifferent to OR RATIONALIZING HAVING HURT, MISTREATED, or stolen from another.

Guesses? It's Antisocial Personality Disorder. Fit anyone you know?

Oh, I forgot. I left out some parts: The beginning should read pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others occurring SINCE AGE 15 YEARS and that there is evidence of Conduct Disorder (basically being a full grade jerk) since AGE 15.

It must be so rare to have someone “break bad” at a later age, that it doesn't fit into the normal categories.

Hm, remind you of anyone? ;)

Skyler is a horribly monstrous enabler. She obviously doesn't care for the safety of Walt Jr. and her baby or else she would have ran when she could have.

Skylar definitely should have taken her divorce lawyers advice, but she didn't. Now she is complicit and there's no turning back for her either.

Gus was the guy who kept everything together. He handled the business aspects, he dealt with the cartel, he dealt with the police, he paid for everything, maintained the "staff", etc etc. With him gone, there is no infrastructure. Gus was the reason why it was such a good operation. Not just a bunch of junkie business. Walt may eventually take over control of these things, but you can see why Mike would be angry. The house of cards could come tumbling down with Gus.

Complicit in Walt's righteous crusade to protect his family, you mean. Any loving wife/mother would do the same.

Finally caught the new episode (just in time for the second tonight!) Thought it was amazing. Cranston is still king.

And I loved it when Skylar let out her inner Skysenberg with Ted.

Like I said before, that "good" line almost won coldblooded line of the episode until Walt swooped in the last moment and showed her how the fuck it's done.
