I maintain that the controller was designed like that to accomodate both people with large and small hands, holding the two handles right next to each other just feels uncomfortable to me. Both ways are correct, but you only accept one, which does make you worse as a person.

Nah man, doesn't matter if it's physically possible to do. Wrong as hell brah. I mean, again, it doesn't even make sense. Being serious, why would you do that? The Z button replaces the L, there's no need to make that bizarre-looking reach when the Z-button + middle handle is just as natural as any other controller grip, regardless of whether the left handle-stick reach is possible.

Black Omen looks nothing like a Star Destroyer in that perspective. They did a disservices to it with that sprite work. It looks like the bow it pointing upward in a 45 degree angle.

The way I held it was by having my right hand under the middle and my left laying over the top of the controller.

Right Thumb - A, B
Right Pointer - Z

Left Thumb - Stick
Left Pointer - C Buttons
Left Middle/Left Ring - R
Left Palm (jam) - L

I played a lot of Perfect Dark and strafing is key so naturally I need easy access to the C Buttons. Primarily holding the controller by anything, but the middle handle is uncomfortable. So that's how I did it.
