As was most of 3Season 4 was great!
Because in Canon (ST:O) Data went on to Captain the Enterpeise-E for 25 years or so, the Enterprise-F being captained by a war focused Andorian. Why can't we just have Star Trek: the Next-Next Generation.
I want an Enterprise and I don't want it to be set around the time of the original series, goddamnit.
Same with Dead Like Me, but that one got a movie at least. It still hurts that Pushing Daisies never got a 3rd season.
Well, Netflix has already bought the global distribution rights so Paramount probably got at least a decent deal out of it (like WB did, since Netflix paid like $2M per "Gotham" episode)In the late 80's/early 90's an episode of TNG cost about 1.3 million to make, one of the most expensive shows on TV at the time. Star Trek ain't cheap. Breaking Bad is in the 2-3 million dollar/episode range. GoT in the 6+ range. But then a lot of episodes wind up being sitting around talking in nice sets a lot of the time. This wouldn't make it hte most expensive show produced - late seasons of ER and Friends ballooned out of control after actors started angling for higher wages.
6-7mln now would be very high, yeah. I guess it's possible if the network was really banking on this being a big hit. How many episodes is it getting?
WHAT THE FUCK??
Why Fuller, why?

Yes! I don't want that book readin' shit. I want mah Star Trek! He'll rather focus his attention on an adaptation of a critically acclaimed novel and a relaunch of a beloved classic anthology series which allows creative freedom, rather than deal with the bullshit of headlining a brand new entry in a franchise filled with entitled fans without any self-awareness who will insult him and his family if it does not meet the narrow expectation they have for it in their heads. Can you blame him?!

They can't overwrite ST:O as easily, and I have no interest in that Enterprise F monstrosity
How did they get Data back?

How did they get Data back?
It sounds like he transferred all of his memories into B-4 before he died.
Hahaha... ugh. My first thought was, "Hey it's an anthology series, maybe they'll get new guys for season two". Then I realized Fuller said it wasn't an anthology. Fuck.Akiva Goldsman and Alex Kurtzman.
Yuck.

Yeah it kind of seems like the obvious choice especially since this Star Trek is on CBS. Plus never watch the show regularly but didn't he used to write for the show. He probably wants to do something different. He'll rather focus his attention on an adaptation of a critically acclaimed novel and a relaunch of a beloved classic anthology series which allows creative freedom, rather than deal with the bullshit of headlining a brand new entry in a franchise filled with entitled fans without any self-awareness who will insult him and his family if it does not meet the narrow expectation they have for it in their heads. fanboys ruing everything. I should know i'm fanboy and i ruin stuff too.lol well when you put it like that i don't blame him
dealing with fanboys would be the worst.
And hack Akiva Goldsman is in? This bodes ill.
Downloaded his matrix into B4 during Nemesis. Eventually the two personalities started competing so eventually B4 deleted itself to let Data take over. How did they get Data back?
To be fair a lot of episodes he written were with the showrunner. He was only consulting producer whatever that meansI love how many people never watched Fringe and can now experience it for the first time.

Well there goes 99% of my interest.
They haven't even cast the main character yet.

Give me Hannibal Season 4 or give me death.
