Buffalo Wild Wings or WingStop?

I'm in Houston as well and if there is a Wings N More I suggest going there. Otherwise go to Buffalo Wild Wings. I personally think Wingstop is horrible. Been there several times and always have found the food to just be bad. Different locations as well.

Wild wing cafe is also good. It's in Katy though, don't know if there are any other locations.

Between the two OP mentioned I prefer BWW. Better wings and when I want wings I don't want French fries so wing stop doesn't appeal to me at all.

i can't speak for the brands in general. But BWW wings tasted better than wingstop wings in NYC..... the wingstop wings tasted like typical bar wings.

Wingstop is less expensive and has better flavors in my opinion, but their actual wing quality is lacking. I'll order 24 and will have to pick broken pieces of bone out of my mouth frequently. Never have that problem at B-Dubs, but the only one in the vicinity has atrocious service.

There's a bar in Milwaukee on the corner of Jackson and Lyon called Points East, and the recipe they use blows me the fuck away. Best wings I have ever had. They use a rub and grill it into the wings. Never have been disappointed with their offerings.

I have only had Wingstop once so I gotta try it more, but based on that single experience I'd go with Wild Wings.

If you have BonChon around you then go there :)

Korean style wings, drumsticks and tenders. So good.

Up and coming chain East Coast Wings & Grill is pretty good. They claim to have some stupid amount of wing sauces like 100 or so but really they're just using the same handful of ingredients but in different amounts. Still, they're pretty good.

Interesting, I just looked them up. Ill have to try it next time I head into town.

We go to the Quaker Steak wing buffet for lunch sometimes; their wings are alright but they are not nearly as good as BW's.

Well that's your problem. That buffet shit is going to be garbage sitting under those heat lamps.

GameStop, MovieStop, ... WingStop?

(I've never seen one of these, at first I thought we were talking about the Pizza Hut brand).

Wings are a scam. Butchers used to have trouble getting rid of them before some joker realized you could slather them with sauce and sell them at a premium.

The "buffet" wings at Quaker Steak are made to-order (you just get an unlimited number of them). There is an actual buffet of salad and pasta and fries and stuff. I stand by my observation that Quaker Steak wings are good but not as good as BW's wings. They are also not nearly as spicy unless you get the gimmicky wings that you have to sign a waiver for.

The Wingstop buffalo tenders are amazing, and the fries are pretty good. Never been impressed with buffalo wild wings for the price, although I've only been 3 times.

Well all I know is the buffet at the one I go to, they leave those wings under heat lamps for a long time. They actually have a buffet set up.

Anyway, IMO they're waaaay better than BWW.

No WingStop anywhere near Massachusetts, so Buffalo Wild Wings wins my vote by default. Haven't been in awhile, but I remember teriyaki being god-like.

Conclusion: I ended up giving WingStop a try. Although I did like their Lemon Pepper & Garlic Parmesan, I wasn't a huge fan of the Mango Habanero or the Original Hot. I ended up going to B-Dubs the next day to take advantage of their 65 cent per wing deal.

Next time, I'm going to Pluckers.....if I have the time.

Wingstop for sure.

Louisiana rub is my favorite. If you like it a little spicier, get Cajun. It essentially a mix of Louisiana an Original Hot.

Buffalo Wild Wings near me has literally the worst service imaginable. Their rating on any review site sucks something awful. Those dudes go out of their way it seems to ignore you after you sit before you even get anything.

Went to WingzUp today and it was really good. The wings were big I got Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parmesan with some onion rings and fried pickles as appetizers. Pretty decent will definitely go back. I enjoy it way more than Pluckers. Its about on the same level as WingStop. The fries do need some work though they are pretty poor.

Did you manage to get the smoked wings? They used to run out a few years ago, not sure if they still do.

I like the country-fried ones too.

I did all original. Next time I will try the smoked wings for sure. Its not too far from my job so I can see myself ordering some to-go when I get off work in the future.
