We still dont know anything about this longterm partnership that Bungie, and Sony apprently have going with each other right? I figured we would be getting more info about it at E3, especially since they unveild on Sonys stage.

Every Bungie employee I have spoken to with out flat out saying it has implied that the PS4 version is the stronger title.

You make it sound like there is going to be a huge difference, there isn't. Games on the whole are going to look so good next gen that it will be getting a little pointless to compare them, the PS4 will probvably have the edge in a lot of games but if next gen games look great anyway then what difference does it make apart from a reason for fanboys to wank over which version looks a bit better.

As it was previous gen, the only differences we will see will be in 1st party games. Multiplatform games won't provide any fuel for graphics arguments as they'll look nearly indistinguishable except for details like color saturation and brightness.

This may be a rough gen for you guys. This isn't a small difference or two disparate systems. This is at least 50% and the same basic x86 platform. This could be a whole settings level (med to high) difference with little effort.

I'm more curious how PS4 compares to the PC version than how it compares to the Xbone version, since there's pretty much zero chance I'll get the later. Now that the PS4 has loads of superfast ram and a modern processor, I don't think even high-end PCs will have too much of a visual edge for a year or more, though the FPS should be higher.

This is going to get interesting though.

Other than brightness/contrast which is a setting and has absolutely no bearing on the performance of the machine or the graphics engine, these two images are absolutely identical. When I get home from work would you like me to compensate the brightness on either side so that they match? Would that make it easier for you to see?
