Seeing all the ash in many scenes does remind me of a giant volcano, however an eruption on that scale would leave a large part of the world dark 24/7 and there's too many day scenes for that. A single meteor just doesn't seem to 'fit in' with what we've seen - I'd go with a meteor shower i.e orbital bombardment, could fit the bill with sporadic but not extinction level damage.

To be specific, it's supposed to be kinetic bombardment. Like a weaponized satellite I guess. Think Hammer of Dawn from Gears or something.

Anyone else reminded of the Bone power-up from Rise Of The Triads with controlling the dog lol. That game was awesome, wouldn't surprise me if that holds the World Record for the most amount of secrets in a video game. The dog need to have some obstacles to tackle, one of them could be attractive female dogs that distract him from the mission.

Now more seriously, IW pull your shit together, work the graphics and improve the gameplay, that is my major problem with the franchise, you don't innovate on this aspects, every game is exactly the same, only the story changes. The story seems interesting enough, but that was never a problem in Call of Duty games, and this won't be different.

The dog stuff does sound rather goofy, I guess, but it could be a nice addition if done well enough. I don't get these games for SP really, so anything that's relatively fun and passable is good to me.

OT, but people realize that PS4 is getting a companion app similar to SmartGlass, right? I don't understand why everyone keeps saying that the Vita will be PS4's SmartGlass when PS4 is actually getting a SmartGlass competitor app.
