I really like all of the maps except for two of them. Flooded and Chasm are just broken.
Chasm's B flag is a clusterfuck. Domination B is supposed to be hard to take, but that one is just absurd. And the area around C flag is too easy for a sniper or camper to pick people off. You can't fix that.
Flooded's, C flag I think it is, is also broken, the one in the parking garage at the ground level is nearly impossible to take without dying. There are far too many directions to watch without getting pulverized.
Every other map can probably be adjusted with safer spawns. There's no way to create perfect spawns in any game, but spawning in a hail of bullets or out in the open before you even get your bearings is just wrong. I shouldn't have to get 6 kills only to die 5 times because I'm stuck is a bad spawn loop against a good spawn trapping team. There are enough safe zones to prevent that.
The rest of the maps have a good layout and flow to them, and a way to approach things without getting shredded.
I like the way the maps are laid out. The 3 lane maps were getting stale, while these feel much more organic. But you can't expect to win very many games solo anymore, you need teamwork to get the win unless you have a really great player who also has lag working in his favor.
But I think the biggest problem aside from spawns, maybe bigger than that, is that the unlock system is just brutal for newcomers. Early on it takes way too many squad points to get anything good. Either double XP needs to become the new normal XP, or the cost of the weapons needs to go down. There are plenty of challenges and modes for people to keep playing. Locking all that stuff up is not fair to newcomers or solo players. Too many are going to give up or not give the game a fair shake. And a lot of that has to do with the unlock system. I already have a major advantage by knowing the maps, having the unlocks in addition to that is going to turn the newer players off bigtime, especially because wins give me more squad points. I have a class for Whiteout that gets and keeps B very easily. That class alone is probably 70 squad points.
