But you're offering no data. Perception can be deceiving.

Let's say, hypothetically, there are 15 people saying "Day 1." That might seem like a lot of replies all saying the same thing. But what if, out of those 15 people, only 10 post in the official thread? That's not a lot of people at all, yet it would be a strong percentage of the people who said Day 1. And it sure wouldn't make a dent in any sales charts.

Taking a look at the ONM article, this doesn't seem like any kind of confirmation by the magazine that CoD: Ghosts is actually real but just an estimation that Ghosts will arrive on Wii U and, therefore, an article as part of the E3 Previews series is in order.

Black Ops II was pretty awesome on U, glad to see the CoD train keeps chugging on there.

I've put in hundreds of hrs to Black Ops 2 on Wii U. Really hoping Ghosts is released this year for WiiU.
