If there was a prestige edition it seems stupid not to announce it at your huge ass show, so I don't think it's looking likely.

Awesome vid, just one tiny nitpick, the 9 kill assault pointstreak is a Strafe Run, not a Strafe Gun. The Death Streaks Dead Man's Hand and Hollow Points apparently give you last stand with C4 and more bullet damage respectively. Otherwise a great vid and great breakdown, keep up the good work!LeMaximilian said:In case you guys missed it before, I did a MP overview video. Just got put up on Machinima where I updated a couple topics and added new MP footage.
If you need a quick 7 minute recap of almost everything from MW3 multiplayer, give it a look :>

JonCha said:So after watching the tourney this is what I like and dislike.
Like:
- Less deliberate camp spots
- Killstreaks not kill-centric
- Higher weapon damage, which will at least compensate for inconsistent hit detection
- Lower grenade launcher damage
- No famas
- Reduced knife lunge.
Dislike:
- UAV-controlled thing, potentially
- Quick scoping
- Gun sounds, which don't sound too realistic
- Picking up a dog tag, but your teammate still gets the same points. I thought the idea was to discourage camping and give them an incentive to move? If you pick up the dog tag, only you should get all the points.
- Death streaks. If Final Stand lasts for a shorter period of time though, I'm happy.
that would generate way too much drama in pugs imoPicking up a dog tag, but your teammate still gets the same points. I thought the idea was to discourage camping and give them an incentive to move? If you pick up the dog tag, only you should get all the points.
Isn't that encouraging people to move though? And plus if only the person picking up the tag gets the points, you'll have people running around just picking up tags from other players' killsJonCha said:Picking up a dog tag, but your teammate still gets the same points. Infinity Wards confirmed that the PC version of Modern Warfare 3 will have LAN support. Studio comms boss Rob Bowling spilled the news in a tweet: Yes, #MW3 has LAN along with detailed class restriction control + default class creation option. He also specified how those restrictions played out, adding: Ability to restrict any weapon, equipment, perk, deathstreak, secondary, attachment, ANYTHING from being used when setting up game,

Too bad about the release timing...
subversus said:and not a single fuck was given because LAN support is overrated nowadays

I know explosives have been nerfed, but I'm just curious.

other features are good for COD community though

Angry Fork said:I'm not really sure why people don't like quick scoping. The only people that can take advantage of it are those with fast reflexes anyway, in which case they deserve to get the kill. There's sooo much worse shit in these games than that like the ability to carry 2 primary weapons, noob tube/frag abuse, etc.

Calibur said:Are there any PS3 or PC users in the Call of Duty Elite Beta or is it still just XBox 360 users?
Does anybody know after Call of Duty Elite has come out of beta that all clan names and groups will be reset, or will all the millions of XBox 360 users that signed up get to keep there clans and groups, before PS3 and PC users get a chance to use the service?

itsgreen said:Yeah I am really pissed by this...
Well not as much pissed as disappointed.
They pulled out all kinds of crap because it was ´overpowered´ but left in the only thing you can´t counter against...
Pisses me off more than anything being killed by a quickscope because there really isn´t anything you can do about it. Against nade spam and stuff you were able to wear a flackjacket, but quickscope is just retarded. It´s a fucking shottie with infinite distance. Absolutely nuts. As if a normal soldier would use a sniper rifle in that way... argh!
Sir Garbageman said:Agree 100%. Honestly assumed it would be one of the first things they fixed from the last one. Really disappointing.
omnomis said:The gun sounds are actually quite a lot more realistic. You can hear the change in audio design philosophy from MW2 especially with guns like the UMP and ACR 6.8. The shots are much more of a sharp crack than they were in the last game.

The spec ops survival section of this video is a great overview of the guns compared to most of the multiplayer gameplay. The SCAR-L, new ACR and the new Colt rifle actually sound like high caliber assault rifles with a realistic assault rifle rate of fire, and the MP5 has a much wimpier sound which is accurate to it being an SMG. In Modern Warfare 2, guns like the ACR and M4 were so high rate of fire and sounded so similar in scale to the MP5K and UMP that without knowing which sound matched which gun, you probably couldn't tell which were ARs and which were SMGs.
Calibur said:I need to know this too because you only carry claymore, Scavenger Pro took long to get in BlackOps and was pretty useless!
Xux said:I doubt they'll make the mistake of letting people replenish them or at least keep it so you can only have one active at a time.
They should fix the glitch that keeps claymores in existence 'til you respawn; they should vaporize the moment you die.
I wouldn't mind seeing C4 being replenished, though, since the Riot Shield's back and you can pair it with Blast Shield.
I guess if you like easier games I could see why you think post cod2 is better.subversus said:
