Alright - all the other PSP ports but the first one. But back when the first one released, it wasn't the phenomenon that it became with 2.
I'm not that familiar with the capabilities of the 3DS, but it doesn't seem very well suited for such games. The world, and especially the ground textures, in games with a slightly large world always seem to be blurry on the 3DS. Or is that somehow art related?
Anyways, as others have said before, I think Monster Hunter would be a great fit for the Vita - it can push the system further in terms of graphics and quality, the triggers, the screen, etc.
Same reasons as the people who come in and say MH is worse than Dark Souls/Spul Sacrifice/Gods Eater/Ragnorok Odyssey, they just want to get it off their chest
It's all fine I guess but MH topics just seems to get more posts of that ilk than others
They should release it on Vita too, that'd help the system and Capcom.
Yet, people will say "If you want to play Monster Hunter, buy a 3DS." PFFFT! It's not Capcom's job to sell 3DS', thats on Nintendo.![]()
Portable 2 (not 2nd G, just the original 2) didn't outsell MH3G either. The difference isn't gigantic (probably around 150k) but MH3G still beat it.

Sales for this won't be an issue going forward. They'll have every opportunity to break records when this series goes exclusively mobile.
Trying but not quite being able to get into a game seems like a really weird thing to have to get off your chest. I couldn't get into Assassin's Creed, but you don't see me in AC threads letting everybody know.
AC was always much bigger than MH worldwide and the first MH port sold much less than the first port on the PSP.
MonHun has never generally been one for terrific texture work. Most of the praise for the graphics has come from the art and the animation, which are absolutely top-notch.
I mean, look at screens of MHFG on the PS3 and Wii U. It is quite literally a 2006 PS2 game in HD.
They should release it on Vita too, that'd help the system and Capcom.

Well, the PS3 one is a port of a PSP game.
How about releasing it for more systems, then?

Didn't they release a MH mobile game a while ago?
If Monster Hunter 4 were exclusive to the Vita, would you be in this thread port begging for the 3DS like your life depended on it?
Few hours are not enough to get hooked.
MH3U ( WiiU ) got me REALLY hooked after 30 hours.
It pays. It really pays.
I'm not begging, I'm not a Monster Hunter fan, never have been. I was just stating the obvious.dat port begging.
Heh, I know I'm being way too obvious.I want to assure you that you're probably the first person ever to have come to this conclusion.
Considering Capcom's current situation I wouldn't be so sure, it'd definitely help them too given their unstable IPs.Getting it on Vita would only help Vita lol.
LOL. I assume in Japan? Because elsewhere, this title is never going to happen. Not even if they go multiplatform.

They did indeed and you can be certain there will be plenty more.

Weren't half of the games that Capcom's mobile division announced some kind of MonHun spinoff? They're going in deep with the franchise now.
I'm pretty sure it won't remain exclusive for 3DS. But at the same time, I'm not seeing any other platform that could boost its sales considerably. DS downport?![]()

With a lot of games also popping up in the same genre, I wonder if franchise/genre fatigue is a possibility.
PSP? The hardware is about the same as a 3DS, I doubt they'd have to touch any of the graphics![]()

It's not a problem on the 3DS, since all the clones are on the Vita.![]()
Trying my hardest to not care about 4 until it's confirmed for localization. Maybe we'll have to wait for the 4G/4U or whatever, but I'm trying my best to not watch anything or to get hyped, because waiting a few years is going to suck![]()
