I feel like the scene of spidey with his mask half off was almost to say "hey look the suit is actually real its not 100% CG"

Except it still looked like the suit was 100% CGI. Its like they couldn't finalize the design for his suit in time for shooting so they did this.

But he thought it was Bucky for most of the movie. Doesn't he only discover it's Zemo at the end?
Yeap, he only found out at the super soldier chamber. It's interesting how BP killed his hatred for zemo after hearing that, even though he just killed his dad a few days ago. While Bucky killed stark's parents over 20 years ago and was even confirmed to be brainwashed during it, yet stark couldn't help but fall into exactly what the villain wanted

Crossbones went out like a chump, but it doesn't seem like they (Hydra? Who was he working for anyway?) did much to him. He could beat Widow but Cap didn't have much trouble with him and his gauntlets.

Is this accurate lol.

"Have you ever been in a fight? There's usually not this much talking."

One thing I've been bitching about to my friends is the lack of a Vault (super-human prison) in the MCU. So, now they have one. Let's count up: who might be in there?

1. The Abomination
2. Justin Hammer
3. Batroc (opening scene villain from Winter Soldier)

...that's all I've got, and 2 of them are just regular humans who may not warrant a special cell. I haven't seen any of the TV shows, though. Anyone else?

Justin Hammer is in regular prison, as seen in the "All Hail the King" one shot.

I think seeing what Zemo's thirst for vengeance did to him made BP realize where that road could lead. Thinking ahead is kind of BP's thing.

The Supes/Spidey comparison is as stupid as it was the first time it was posted because it doesn't capture what kind of wooden piece of shit Cavill is as Supes when he doesn't talk.

Look mopey and call it "acting" brehs.

Abomination is in some holding centre in Alaska and Hammer is in some supermax prison with Trevor lol

Y'all so shocked about Don Cheadle's appearance.

While I'm shocked Chadwick Boseman is 39.

This guy looks like he's in his mid 20. Black don't crack.

Edit: Some were even complaining he looked too young for T'Challa.

He looks good for 39, but 39 isn't that old really. Stay healthy and you can still look young

He played the role well. I'm surprised the Black Panther movie is 2 years away... c'mon. It seems like it could be the next Marvel movie, but I guess that's gonna be Dr Strange later this year.

Overall I really loved the film,
Zemo was the most sympathetic ever in a Marvel movie, that part where he mentioned his kid wanting to see the iron man almost put me in tears.

So is anyone else wondering how they're going to handle the avengers defeating thanos with a fully stocked infinity gauntlet? I'm not seeing it at all plausible with the current cast in the MCU. They would have to power up most of the characters to their comic book equivalents, but that would fuck over future movies. Unless they plan to do the Vision thing someone mentioned pages back

Give Black Panther his King Of the Dead upgrade.

Jk it's not going to happen.

They all hold Thor's hammer together and take a swing at Thanos.

I feel like they adjusted some power levels for the movie/fight. They made Vision into Kitty Pryde with a forehead beam. And after what Wanda did to Crossbones and Vision she could've wrecked anyone, but all she did at the airport was prevent any debilitating blows.

EDIT: also forgot the mind-bendy thing Wanda did in Ultron. Could easily win any fight.

Didn't Feige tease a certain great lake avengers appearing in the universe?

Wanda didn't blow up Crossbones, she just contained the explosion for as long as she could.

Considered the shit that happened at Lagos I'm not surprised if she is holding back on a conscious and subconscious level.

I think it's because he recently had a movie Miles Ahead where he had to slim down.

Dude was pretty fucking swole in Miles Ahead. Also you should all check that movie out. Best movie of the year so far.

I do think that Scarlet Witch is holding back, but on a subconscious level. She did legit try to send Crossbones as high as she could. Something's holding her back mentally, & Wanda could be absolutely terrifying if that mental block was removed.

This is the one thing that holds back MCU from having X-Men style floating debris fight IMO. Characters like Hawkeye and Black Widow preventing the films from having an all-out Max-powered Superhero fights. They have to ground the characters to a certain extent and it somewhat affects the battles but also the special effects.

I think it's funny that Elizabeth Olson lost her accent and there's no mention of her giving a shit about her brother. The brother that died in Sokavia, the event that people are bitching about people dying the. whole. movie.

She should have just hand waved guilt and said "I lost my brother in that fight".

She should have just died along with him. Her character is pointless.

Anyone else just wish they kept the Stamford incident as the big motivation? I feel like that would have been way more emotional.

no because the issue of superhero registration is one that deserves more nuance than dead schoolchildren and nazi tony stark and "do you even know what myspace is?"

EVERY deviation from the Civil War book in this movie was a godsend and a missed opportunity for suckage

That he didn't come up in conversation even once was weird, but Wanda does not have anyone to blame but herself for her brother's death. The two of them allowed things to get as far as they did. Quicksilver paid for it, for both of them.

But who's gonna have Vision's kids?

she didnt lose the accent?

its milder. she's been in America for a while, speaking english for a while

she has a shrine to her brother in her room
