So is Bucky's arm Vibranium or not? I kept thinking it was due to the feats it can pull such as punching the shield head on and making it look as if Cap is the one struggling from it, but then Tony more or less blasts it off with ease despite the fact we know his repulsors can't damage the shield much.

Also best buddies.

I don't think so. Maybe a super alloy like the Iron-Man suits?

Maybe now that he's a guest of T'Chala he can get one of actual vibranium.

Maybe. I keep seeing it said all over the place that it is Vibranium and then it isn't. But I think even Tony would receive some type of vibrating backlash if he straight-up punched the shield since that's what it does, absorbing damage. When Bucky punches the shield directly in WS, it's Cap that looks to be having trouble to hold the shield up.

Yeah that has to happen. They set it up and everything with him losing the arm

The Wakanda science boffins figure out how to de-program him. Once he's all better, T'Challa gifts him a shiny new Vibranium arm.

Just as he puts it on, Ulysses Klaw appears and *yoink* takes it from him. The rest of the film is Winter Solider and Black Panther chasing Klaw around the world, all set to Yakety Sax.

Although to be fair, in The Winter Soldier Cap's shield takes a chunk out of Bucky's arm so I really don't think it can be vibranium.

maybe a solid piece of vibranium shield is more durable than vibranium robotic arms which had to be assembled from multiple smaller pieces to allow joint articulations

I like the back and forth between Bucky and Falcon. There were only two conversations I think, the one from the gif and the "i hate you" line; but damn it was cool.

Depends on writers, they can use the AoU Korean tech on him.
Isn't Helen Cho's stuff just muscle and tissue regrowth? I don't think she would be able to repair his spinal damage...

I mean, we want stakes in these stories, but fuck when it does happen, I feel so terrible for Rhodey now. *-*

See, they need to kick Thaddeus Ross out ASAP and have Rhodey backing the Accords as the government liaison to the sanctioned Avengers. Probably after Ross fucks up with his Thunderbolts initiative.

My favourite bits of the film was when Bucky and Cap were in the Quinjet, flying towards Siberia.

Bucky: "I'm not worth all this"
Cap: "You're not responsible for what they made you do"
Bucky: "I know.... But I did it anyway"

Showed how Bucky had appraised his time as the Winter Soldier. Wasn't raging against Hydra, and still blamed himself. Also showed that he needed Cap to help him come to terms with who is really is.

Thinking that Zemo was the final winner is certainly a realistic viewpoint, but Cap did what he'd been trying to do since the bridge fight in Winter Soldier - save Bucky. He managed this, at the expense of the Avengers and his own reputation.

hey, does the accords now have the power to order Stark to make more Iron-man suit for them? like Ross can argue that Avengers right now is really understaffed. only Tony and Vision while Rhodes is still injured. so what if Ross want to add more people on the team and the easy way to do that is to make more Ironman.

Cap even mention that when Tony argue that he stop weapon production when he found out terrorist are using his weapon. Cap said that Tony is the one who decide that, by signing with the accord, he throw away his right to make that kind of decision.

Just watched it. Good movie.

#TeamStark is essentially the only superheroes I like in this universe, outside of Hulk.

I wish these movies had the balls to kill someone off though (that isn't some low level SHIELD person). Winter Soldier and/or Don Cheadle should have died.

Oh, Spider-man was perfect to a tee. I can't wait to see that movie.

I gotta say though, I just can't get behind the guy who plays Winter Soldier.
If there was one thing I'd nitpick about the movie, it'd be that they didn't re-establish that bond between Cap and Bucky. It's central to the entire movie, but we really only know about it from Winter Soldier. They did very little to build on it in Civil War, which was a mistake IMHO.

Watched it last night, this may have already been asked, but in previous films (or even this film if i missed it) were we as the audience informed that Steve knew Bucky killed Stark's parents?
I'm pretty sure Cap only knew that Hydra was responsible, not that Bucky did it.

Best scene in the movie :)

Looking back on it, Hawkeye is the one character in the film I have problems with. The guy more or less calls Tony a dick for getting them arrested and the minute Tony brings up the valid question of why Clint got involved when he retired and had a family to take care he completely changes the topic back to Tony being a dick.

At least Black Panther destroyed him with one short beautiful sentence.

I wish. At this rate it'll be a miracle if Pepper ever actually appears again in a movie.

Isn't Winter Soldier a candidate for next Cap. Cap will maybe be one of the Thanos victims.

I can see everyone else being defeated with Cap being the last one standing fighting Thanos in Infinity War. Even though he has no chance and no way to win he'll never give up because that's just who he is.

In all fairness, getting locked away in a maximum security prison in the middle of the ocean for helping someone out, seems a little on the harsh side.

Still, Clint had to know what he was getting himself into when he decided to side with the guy the entire government was after.

I can only assume this is him taking that debt he owes Pietro with Wanda to extreme levels but dude, Wanda is kicking way more ass than you ever could.

Wait...is there some behind the scene scuffles with the actress??

Urghhh...first Natalie Portman, now it's Gwyneth Paltrow.
I do know that RDJ more or less pulled some creative strings to get her in Avengers 1 as she wasn't originally planned until he asked she be put in, so maybe she's only regulated for Iron Man movies and there doesn't seem to be plans for anymore of them yet.

All I can hope for is that we get a throwaway line that Pepper and Tony got back together in a future movie. Or she appears in Spider-Man Homecoming somehow.

Everyone in cinema was creeped out by that kiss between Sharron and Steve. Kinda creepy, seeing as Peggy had just recently been gone.

I heard a million Bucky/Steve shippers hearts crumble when that scene played.

Honestly I didn't find much of an issue. Sharon and Steve presumably spent a lot of time together since Winter Soldier, which is roughly two years or so.

It's not like the writers can even decide whether Caps shield absorbs or not. Sometimes he gets sent flying by an attack, occasionally the attacks bounce off and sometimes just disappear.
Same thing with cutting. If he throws it at humans, it doesn't cut, but if he throws it at scenery, it embeds itself to a wall.

Am I alone in thinking that Tony was completely right at the end? Sure, Bucky was mind wiped/controlled, but that really doesn't excuse his actions. Bucky really doesn't deserve the protection of Captain America.
He has every right to be pissed at Rogers, sure, but Bucky was - as you just said - being controlled. He had no control over his actions whatsoever. He didn't know what he was doing, just that he was doing it for Hydra. Rogers has no excuse, however, he knew the truth and hid it from Stark. That said, I'm still #TeamCap.

So events in MCU happened with the same interval in real life? Tony was said to have been Iron Man for 8 years. No wonder the world is concerned with Avengers, they have like two major disasters happening each year.
