Really? It always looks so great when I watch it :/

Its one of those games that is quite divisive. I liked it a lot, its not a game with an incredibly deep combat system but I still think its enjoyable as long as you're not expecting it to be something it isn't.

Probably can't go too far wrong for £8

Anybody know where I can pick up Destiny TKK the cheapest? Simply Games has it for £39. Wondering if anywhere is selling it for slightly less.

Nuuvem is as legit as you can get and has the best prices most of the time.
The thing is that you'll need to use a vpn for a lot of purchases since the game might not be available for people outside Brazil or South America.

No matter how I spin it I don't see myself being able to afford a PS4 any time soon.
I've been doing most of my gaming on PC for a while but now with the Uncharted collection about to release it really bothers me that I can't play it since I'm a huge fan of the franchise, I hope I can afford it by the time UC4 is released, not being able to play that one would really sting.

Right, but would using a vpn be strictly a one time thing?

Last time I used Nuuvem iirc all you needed was a VPN to put the things in your basket, then you could turn it off before paying and it'd work. The key itself should work regardless, I think, but not sure what steam regional stuff is like nowadays, I thought they changed some stuff at some point. Worst case you also have to register it on steam with a VPN before turning it off.

ok, final question! Sorry for being such a dunce about this!

If it does only require the VPN when adding it to the cart, could I use something free like Hola?

I don't know why, but ever since importing a Japanese New 3DS early this year, I've been flip flopping on the idea of replacing my PAL New 3DS XL with another regular.

Where's the best priced new 3DS right now? Looking like £130 is the cheapest so far.

Go through bespoke offers. Place the link in the bar and wait for your price. I got it for 33

Cheers dude!

Also worth noting to you folks that The Order is now out of stock on TGC. No surprise really with the price that it was being offered at. I got my order in, so hopefully they get stock in soon so that it gets dispatched!

amazon.fr is ~£113 before postage, which is quite cheap to the UK as I recall.

I've used ParcelMotel before to get something from Argos UK and it was really easy. The site lets you pick the closest locker to you and they're all over the place. Cheap too.

Cheers hopefully that should have me sorted, I take it you get an estimate of when it will arrive or do you just get a text or something? Any of you know how fast Nintendo Store ship items?

Hola used to work but not anymore, use flyvpn.

Also make sure you turn the VPN off before you enter any sensitive information.
To answer your previous question, I've used cd keys multiple times and they're legit, only heard of nuuvem from friends and hotukdeals.

I tried this with Simply Games and got a "Sorry, we don’t accept web page links from this website. Please try entering a web page link from a different online retailer." message.

Oh shite really? Does that mean I'll probably never get my order then like almost anything else from Zavvi? I can't even remember the last time I actually received anything I ordered from them (or getting the right item). Not sure if it's worth the hassle if so.

Various Asda stores are doing some kind of old stock sale for some oldish games. Hot UK Deals has a topic on it, all I can say is that Asda Living in Lincoln had a few small shelves of a few 3DS games (TMNT, Angry Brids) and a reasonable selection of last gen titles but with not many available (Alien: Isolation, XCOM GOTY, Borderlands 2 and such). I picked up Ducktales Remastered on PS3 for £7, but there was only one left. The normal Asda in Lincoln had naff all reduced other than their usual selection.

Wasn't planning on getting into this but my local CEX was selling Destiny Taken King PS4 new and sealed for £18. Might worth checking your locals. Jumped in at that price. 0_0

Sounds like someone made a mistake and thought it was just Destiny new and sealed lol.
Exactly what I was thinking - approached the guy with a hesitant "I'm interested in Destiny..." and he launched into a full game + new dlc for a low price spiel. Hey, I gave them an out if it was a price error!

I've had lots of problems with Zavvi but only once with Nintendo and they gave me a £5 voucher because of it (oh and when my Mario Kart 8 didn't arrive on release day they emailed me a code for a digital version for free). They seem really good with the customer service side but the delivery is still with Yodel who aren't exactly great.

Popped into my local Toys R Us this morning and picked up 2* 365day PSN Plus subs for £19.96 each. Might be worth checking out local stores.

The disc is the base game and all the extra content is redeemed via a code, so they have priced correctly but you were lucky it was a sealed copy.

Yup,never had an issue from Zavvi though, even their returns are easy.

Do you know if that was a nationwide or local deal by any chance?

Just checked hotukdeals to see if anyone had posted and someone had already picked some up in Plymouth. I got mine in Ilford. By the looks of it, it is national but selected stores. Probably worth ringing before you go.

Noticed Bespoke deals are running ads in game magazines this month. How do they stack up against Flubit? I tend to avoid Barclays like the plague but price is still king.

O_O I'm literally 5mins from there, I thought it had closed down... How many were left?

A yellow dot on a PS4 game means that it's an import, right?

Just got Bloodborne and Order 1886 from TGC with them both on, not that I mind all that much but I thought buying it new meant they'd definitely be UK PAL versions.

UAE import
i think it's Gameseek, Simplygames and TGC that sell imports

Weird that it didn't mention they'd be imports, they do for The Last of Us ('box may have Arabic text' or something similar).

Also, since when is Bloodborne only PEGI 16 rating while Order 1886 is 18?

I made an account to try them out when getting one of the grey anniversary PS4 controllers. Flubit's deal came back quicker and cheaper but Bespoke Offers seems to accept a wider variety of URLs (like Flubit used to, so not just Amazon) so your mileage may vary.

EireGAF, any of you use ParcelMotel to get stuff from places like the Nintendo Store? I have the Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer 3DS XL on order from Smyths but noticed the Nintendo Store have a nice pack with a few extras in it for roughly the same price and I think my girlfriend would love stuff like that (and a case and extra adapter will always be handy) but I'm not sure exactly how it works in terms of the "lockers" and stuff and the places you pick things up from. Also do bundles like these ever tend to sell out on the Nintendo store close to release or anything?

I use Parcel Motel for the Nintendo store and for GAME's collector editions.

I do have to inform you that you might not get the 3DS. I ordered the Majora Mask New 3DS and Nintendo cancelled it. I can't find the email but it was something to do with the registered post. They won't let Parcel Motel sign for it.

Things might have changed since then but just to let you know from my experience.

Bought it last minute, fuck it. Worth a punt at £8. The visuals are just stunning, and I love the kill animations and facial work, plus I watched a few minutes and the voice acting is solid, that was enough reason to gamble for me. I'll hit it up after Mad Max if there's time before Uncharted Collection, otherwise it'll have to be put on the back burner for awhile.

Thanks, I appreciate that a lot, maybe I should just go for the one I have ordered here after all.

It's a short game (<10 hours) so you'll probably have time :)

Just picked up MGSV:TPP from cdkeys, with the Facebook voucher it's £26.50. Download is 20GB though; if I was at home that'd be fine, but on my parents' connection it's gonna take a few hours (and also eat up a third of the monthly bandwidth cap).

I don't understand how something like this is even possible. I've ordered probably somewhere around 150-200 items from Zavvi & TheHut combined and I've never gotten the wrong order. Sometimes it has taken 3-5 weeks to get some order (to Finland), but that's not necessarily their fault (i.e. one time one order of mine took a long-lasting detour around Eastern Europe, though the package was clearly labeled for delivery to Finland). They sometimes take 2-4 days to ship something they claim is in-stock, but it's not really Zavvi's fault if shit gets lost after they've despatched your order. They could handle the aftermath better, but otherwise it's not like they could do anything differently than to send the packages to you ASAP. They have free shipping so you can't really complain when their choice for delivery isn't as good as the non-free alternatives, but so far the difference is really like Amazon UK takes 4-6 days to deliver to Finland vs. Zavvi taking 5-9 days, on average.

I am in Finland also and my experience with them is the same. Other than the slow shipping, nothing to complain about. Although I have only ordered from them like 30 items or less.

Is this a new Pokémon Omega Ruby release? I was aware of the steelbook releases we got for that game. Hadn't seen this one before. Comes with a Pokéball statuette and a Hoenn Pokédex poster.

€50 at Amazon France. Release date is October 30th, 2015.

4 of my last 5 orders were fuck-ups. I ordered two Disney Classics DVDs with the special sleeves, instead I didn't get any of the sleeves and they told me if I wanted a refund I'd have to foot the bill for returning it (which is fair enough in most cases as it's the same with the vast majority of sites I'd wager, except in this case they were falsely advertising that they had the newer sleeved versions and they didn't and that fucked me up a little since it was a Christmas gift). Next one was the Shulk amiibo. Ordered pretty much right away when it went up, then about a week after release got an email saying they were still processing the order (or trying to locate stock or something). This happened for about 5 weeks and then my order was cancelled and there was barely even an apology in their email for it. Next one was the Zelda amiibo. Took a while to get here, and when it did, it was in the thinnest of bags and had been battered and drenched through so much that only the plastic around the back of the amiibo is what kept the amiibo itself dry and undamaged. The next order was Super Mario Maker, and the same thing that happened with Shulk is happening here. Like if you fucked up and can't get stock or just way oversold your pre-orders then just tell your customers straight away, how is keeping them waiting for weeks better for anyone?
