Robin.

I don't think there was any insinuation that Magus' life was at risk. I mean, he eventually just leaves the mystics without any real consequence. No reason to lead an army to war.It was either that, or he would get killed. The game goes out of the way to try and remove as much blame as possible from him.
Typically, we call the instigators of war the bad guys, and hold the defenders blameless. Not looking to make a deep argument here, just talking along the lines of video game villainy.Ike also lead an army that killed a ton of people.
So did Marth!
I meant less in terms of 'rules' and more just visually distinguishing who was 'playable' Ridley and which was the stage boss, though I imagine they'd go off his Super Metroid/Brawl design if they ever make him playable.Right, so one again this is just a made up "rule" that isn't even true.
"Ridley" being on Pyrosphere doesn't stop Ridley from being a playable character.
Roy was pretty much Melee nostalgia.
And Wolf will be Brawl nostalgia.
ahhhhh tripping
ahhhhhh tornado
good times, good times
Roy's FS isn't THAT different to Marth's really.don't forget landmaster
cause we need three characters with the same final smash

Bowser isn't evil lol.
apparently mewtwo isn't evil
even though he kills a bunch of people during the first scene of his movie

Also Jigglypuff has probably murdered someone
.
Pokémon anime=/= Pokémon games
Besides, even in the anime he becomes good.
And that's the issue.
Game =/= Movies
Why? A fun game featuring fun characters on a fun console...why wouldn't people want to have fun? Personally, I'm going to enjoy having fun playing a game with more character options that in no way degrades anyone's fun and do so with all the integrity in the world.
And that's the issue.

1) He was in 2 good DKC games
2) DK doesn't have a villain rep in Smash
That's about it.
Terry. Most certainly Terry. Unless you mean if any of them have a shot. Then it's still Terry. After all, his theme's called "Big Shot" for a reason.
Sarcasm? You don't understand, this has nothing to do with fun. This is serious. This is about the integrity of Nintendo as a company, and about a little thing I like to call honor. I don't know how much the rest of you know about Nintendo fan culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is with Square-Enix where you can become successful by being an angsty asshole with a big sword. If you screw a Nintendo fan over at Nintendo, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance and calling out for Gaia.
What this means is the Nintendo fans at GoNintendo, after hearing about this, are not going to want to purchase the Cloud DLC, nor will they purchase any of Nintendo's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Nintendo has alienated an entire market with this move.
Sakurai, publicly apologize to whoever's running Nintendo now and cancel the Cloud DLC or you can kiss what remains of your hands goodbye.
Sarcasm?
Cloud has appeared in more games on a Nintendo system than Ness.

Mewtwo is most definitely treated as a villain in Melee. It's why he appears in Event 51.Mewtwo isn't really evil in Gen 1. He's violent. Every dex entry makes it sound like he's very, very violent. But they also make it sound like he has pretty good reason to be what with his genes getting recombined and shit.
No the real villain in Mewtwo's story is Mr. Fuji.
apparently mewtwo isn't evil

Mewtwo also destroyed the lab that created it in the games while escaping.
Which? How many kingdom hearts? Also explorers. What else?
Ness is now at 6 games? Smash 1, 2, 3, 4u, 43ds, mother 2

Anti-Heroes or neutral. These aren't villains. There's only Bowser, Ganondorf, and The Koopalings as actual evil characters.
Lol @ Mewtwo and Dark Pit being villains. Looks like someone didn't play their games all the way through.
Ness is also in Mario Maker.
Yes he is. He's incompetent, sure, but he's certainly evil.
I think you mean Shovel Knight, Wonder Red and Miku.
Especially Miku.
Ike Climbers.
Non-canon
It's the Pokemon universe. You really think anyone died? And I'd imagine he wasn't in the best living conditions.

There was the Great War.
smash has always used the pokemon anime as an influence more than the pokemon games, I feel like
all the voice actors for each pokemon are from the anime and jigglypuff was originally included in smash 64 because of her role in the anime
