The words chosen during the press conference are planned out. So the lack of definitively stating dedicated servers are exclusive to Xbone is notable. And it is completely logical to assume dedicated servers might come to PS4.

It's completely reasonable and logical for people to assume that. It might be incorrect but it doesn't mean it's irrational.

Regardless, dedicated servers for COD is great news. Finally we get what we have been asking for years. Nice work Activision and MS.

Even if Ps4 version receive Actvision's dedicated servers,
Cloud Servers > Normal Dedicated Servers. Plain and simple.

You can't beat the the dynamic demand architecture with load balance from a cloud swarm of servers all over the world. with usual geolocated dedicated sever.

Given that, I fully expect PS4 to be p2p as well, but I do have some hope since absolutely no one is confirming nor denying it for PS4.

ITT: People quickly assume XBONE is the definite version and PS4 has no dedicated servers.

Sony is doing the same thing Microsoft did when it didn't want to release the full specs of the XB1. If Sony could provide dedicated servers for that many players they would have come out and said so by now.

Microsoft, Iw, or Acti has never said "Exclusive" or "Console Exclusive" in regards to this.

IW will not answer yes or no to the question. The best you can get out of them is we ain't talking about that right now.

Instead of asking why Sony hasn't said that it would get them, ask yourself why Microsoft isn't saying "Exclusive" or "Console Exclusive" about this.

Microsoft should/would be beating the Xbox One drum over this if it were a "Console Exclusive". It would be posted by Nelson all day everyday on twitter. And Google certainly could find a site were Microsoft confirms it. They is a reason that none of that is happening.

I guess it's possible Microsoft can't because they don't know. But IW would know 2 months before launch if PS4 would be using them. And why would IW withhold that info from the people paying them millions and millions lol.

These companies love saying exclusive about anything. ABC game will have exclusive content on PS3. And then it turns out to be some lame ass hat for your character lol. But exclusive so they throw it out there.

I don't know either way, but if you take the information out there right now, there is no reason to think PS4 wouldn't have them. Microsoft not saying "Exclusive" or "Console Exclusive" says a lot. As gamers, we should be used to corporate talk by now
