He really needs to calm down. I used to think Jimbo's anger on the sidelines was good for the team (esp after Bowden), but it's not.
The coach comes across as panicking moreso than passionate.

Yea I think there is some truth to that. But at the same time as a coach, I can understand how you would wanna let your players know that the mistakes they make arent things to be taken lightly under ANY circumstance. Especially when many games are won by whichever team makes the least amount of mistakes.

Just for giggles, I checked out my postings. Seems like I had 38 posts in total up till Saturday @ 10:51 am. 130 posts from there till the end of the topic last night. Only 9 posts on Sunday, so 121 posts Saturday. Chatty fucking Cathy, cause I was out in town for a couple hours midday...

Mizzou was a total letdown for me. I think I picked them to win the east :/ Assumed too much that their "hurry up" offense would give fits, with this supposed great QB in Franklin.
Georgia getting good numbers from freshman RB's, Florida improving from that 1st game, and SCAR doing something with an inadequate QB and Lattimore not being slowed down from last years knee injury didn't help my SEC East Pick either.
Florida can run at will against Mizzou.
I slept very well. I was talking to a friend that's a Gata all day, but I was nice after the game. I know the receiving end of those texts really suck.

You weren't entirely wrong, you just picked the wrong new team. Even I didn't think A&M would be doing this well so soon, especially the way they played close with LSU despite all the turnovers. Bama-A&M could be a fun preview of Bama-Ducks; I'm sure the TV commentators will talk endlessly on how Manziel was originally committed to Oregon.

Well, that sucked.
Honestly, after beating UMass by 3, Buffalo by 7 and Akron by 6, hopes of running the table were pretty much dashed for me. It was fun to talk about, but realistically I don't think too many Ohio fans thought it was actually going to happen. We can still go into uncharted territory this year (last MAC title was 1968) but it's going to be tough, all the other teams with a shot at the MAC East control their destiny. We don't.

UA has been releasing some teaser images for them but this is the only one that shows off anything decent (the others are things like "half of red sleeve and some red gloves") -
Looks like one of the high gloss helmets a few teams have trotted out this year but I can't 100% tell if that's just the lighting in the shot or not.

Oh yeah, definitely game day posting for me. We were off this weekend, so I just got to sit back, relax, and watch everything else going on.
Admittedly, that schedule looked a LOT worse before the season started. I'm not sure that the actual A&M team is any better than I thought they would be but I would have never expected Arkansas and Auburn to have jumped off a giant cliff and (as I've mentioned a few times) I still would have picked La Tech to beat them if it was the first game of the season.

Ive always felt like, to have a successful team, you gotta have a few bad citizens on the team. I mean, thats how Ohio State used to win all the time. They would have two or three guys that were criminals. That just adds to the chemistry of the team. I think Auburn is growing because maybe they have some guys that are doing something worthy of a suspension, which creates edge on the football team. You cant have a football team full of choir boys. You get your butt kicked if you have a team full of choir boys. You gotta have a little bit of edge, but the coach has to be the dictator and ultimate ruler.

I was going to do an update on this today actually.
AS for the Ohio State picks, since none of us knew they could actually win thier divsion we will just consider the team who reps them in the B1G champ game as the winner.
We'd have a lot more lifelong diehards right now if they were undefeated.
