I think Gillislee has always acquitted himself well (excepting when he plays against the Umpire). To be fair, he plays in garbage time against backups and tired defenses, but he usually gets goodyards, especially between the tackles, which could be a nice mix-up from the edge running of Demps/Rainey. Now that they stopped running the dive all the time, that is.
Striker said he was throwing the ball in practice, so probably just a precaution to keep him from taking any hits, since they already lost most hope at the NC game. Still, would have thought they would put him out there since the ACC was still yet to be determined.

Not since Matt Millen drafted 8 consecutive first round bust wide receivers have I seen somebody do a hatchet job on a program like Mike Locksley's done at UNM. It's ridiculous. He's just an awful coach. Some examples from today's debacle; Locks has a pet play, apparently. The qb reverses out and fakes an option to the left, spins and throws a screen to the right. He called it 5 times to the tune of 5 incompletions. Hey, asshat, that play doesn't fucking work, STOP calling it! Need more? In OT, UNM gets the ball, uses both timeouts, goes for it on 4th and short from the 15, makes it. Kicks a FG anyway.
