Suspicions... confirmed!mre said:I take this back. I do have a degree from Florida, so I'd be okay with them going 6-6 as long as they beat the Seminoles.
My hatred for FSU was well earned. I graduated from a Tallahassee high school in 98, right in the middle of FSU's most arrogant streak.Cyan said:Suspicions... confirmed!
I knew it!
I'm broke. I work at a restaurant so night home games are easy money.Jeff-DSA said:Why not be a good fan and support your team?

Technology and a night game will not deter him.Lonestar said:Ahhh, we must be about the same age.

SerArthurDayne said:Alabama hasn't exactly established themselves as a powerhouse this year, so it could be a good game. Florida looks much better than last year, but very sloppy, and with a questionable secondary.
Also, Oregon is wearing green. Is that a team color or something? Weird.
At alumni club bar, so the place is filled with Tech fans. There was much celebration and cheering and chanting going on so I couldn't post right away.perfectchaos007 said:Did Monroski have a heart attack?

I'm not impressed.mre said:Bwah?

I don't think Alabama is quite certain of what they have at QB, although with their offense you really need to be a game manager type guy and you should get by fine.
Their defense is great.
They haven't played a good, well-rounded team yet. Who they have played they have beaten convincingly, however.
Richardson looked good today, so that is a positive, but rush defense would definitely be the strength of the Gator defense.
The Wide receiver corps hasn't found a replacement for Julio Jones as far as I'm aware.
I'm not saying they aren't a good team, maybe the best at this point in the season, but I just don't think they have some aura of invincibility like they have had in past years.

Jeff-DSA said:I think Alabama is better than LSU as well. Hard to tell with Oklahoma yet.
I wouldn't say that we've had an aura of invincibility since the 1992 team, but as long as we stay relatively healthy we're as good as anybody else in the nation.SerArthurDayne said:Seriously?

that and les miles is certifiably insane.Kalnos said:Don't be fooled, it's still magic, they haven't run out yet. They're the only other team besides UK that I make sure to watch in the SEC, they have funny games.
Yeah, I went to UF from 2005-2009, but I grew up near Tallahassee and went to grade school there. Man, they were insufferable in the 90s.mre said:My hatred for FSU was well earned. I graduated from a Tallahassee high school in 98, right in the middle of FSU's most arrogant streak.
Me too! 4 championships in four years high five!ascii42 said:Yeah, I went to UF from 2005-2009
