Suspicions... confirmed!

I knew it!
My hatred for FSU was well earned. I graduated from a Tallahassee high school in 98, right in the middle of FSU's most arrogant streak.

I think the SEC chant is acceptable after the latest MNC asskicking. You are already the champ of the SEC, which means the champ overall, and it acknowledges that.
But it is also nice to troll the other teams.

Alabama hasn't exactly established themselves as a powerhouse this year, so it could be a good game. Florida looks much better than last year, but very sloppy, and with a questionable secondary.

Also, Oregon is wearing green. Is that a team color or something? Weird.

If they aren't a powerhouse, then there are no powerhouses.

Did Monroski have a heart attack?

edit: he's alive!
At alumni club bar, so the place is filled with Tech fans. There was much celebration and cheering and chanting going on so I couldn't post right away.

Much more celebration than should have been going on for freaking Nevada, but it was incredible nonetheless. We've got a young team and we knew there would be games like this so I'm very happy we managed to pull it off.

You're insane.

Seriously?
I don't think Alabama is quite certain of what they have at QB, although with their offense you really need to be a game manager type guy and you should get by fine.
Their defense is great.
They haven't played a good, well-rounded team yet. Who they have played they have beaten convincingly, however.
Richardson looked good today, so that is a positive, but rush defense would definitely be the strength of the Gator defense.
The Wide receiver corps hasn't found a replacement for Julio Jones as far as I'm aware.

I'm not saying they aren't a good team, maybe the best at this point in the season, but I just don't think they have some aura of invincibility like they have had in past years.

In my opinion that goes to LSU.

Alabama is far better than LSU, and a a little better than OU just by obervation. I would rank Bama #1 from what I've seen so far

I think Alabama is better than LSU as well. Hard to tell with Oklahoma yet.

Duh, how could I forget. Everyone sucks after Alabama beats them.

I feel a losing streak coming up.

I'm not convinced about Oklahoma either, nor LSU. Based simply on the schedule and results I would have to give it to LSU. Usually I think LSU is a shitty team that gets by on magic. This year they look like a good team, and they could be deadly if they keep that "magic" as well. Maybe Pick-6 Lee is actually going to be a decent QB this season.

I wouldn't say that we've had an aura of invincibility since the 1992 team, but as long as we stay relatively healthy we're as good as anybody else in the nation.

My only concerns have been (1) the offensive line and (2) the QB position. The OL played much, much better tonight against Arkansas and AJ has somehow managed to contain his inner Grossman.

I will say this, though. That defense is ugly, nasty, and seems to hate everything else on the field at the same time as them. Sucks that we lost Mosley, but if there's one position that we're deep at it's LB.

Don't be fooled, it's still magic, they haven't run out yet. They're the only other team besides UK that I make sure to watch in the SEC, they have funny games.

Yeah, I went to UF from 2005-2009, but I grew up near Tallahassee and went to grade school there. Man, they were insufferable in the 90s.

Well, Urban Meyer was always Alabama's bitch, the 2008 SEC championship game only somewhat withstanding. So you have always had something of an aura of invincibility for the Gators.
When I say powerhouse I don't mean that I don't think you deserve to be the 1 or 2 team in the country, just that at this point I wouldn't commit to it until I see some more and see how the team develops over the season.
And Lonestar, seriously? The only team that Arkansas played that might count is Troy, which was a 10 point win for them. Penn State is a good program, but not a good team this year. So, no, I don't think teams you play retroactively suck. But, outside of a prolific offense for Arkansas, I don't think Bama has played a good well-rounded team yet.
Don't take it personally, most teams haven't. The Gators certainly haven't. Our biggest challenge has been a mediocre Tennessee team.

Me too! 4 championships in four years high five!

On the one hand I don't want LSU to win, but on the other hand I'd like to enjoy Crispin's tears. What a dilemma.

there is garbage flying all around ASU right now, and I'm not talking about the teams.

there's seriously a dust storm or something, and trash from all the trailers around ASU is finding its way into the stadium.
