Honestly, apart from the occasional Steam port, SNK isn't doing much outside of the mobile space these days. The best thing they've done in years was The Rhythm of Fighters and they closed the servers a month ago. This can either be good for SNK or we'll just see them go full mobile.

Well.. I doubt this sale means SNKP titles wont leave the Chinese borders... SNK Playmore now just have a parent company. If anything it could help them get the funding (and direction) they need to make the jump into the current generation.

I know everyone loves their 2D sprite art but that shit is expensive and clearly not as scalable as 3D models... SNKP should look at Capcom, Namco & Arc System Works and just use Unreal SDK going forward.
It will save them a lot of time and money... and we can finally get the games we love.

Uh, if anything this means SNKP will actually make arcade/console/PC games now with their IP, instead of mobile and/or pachinko/pachislot deals.
The non-Japanese Asian companies don't care about consoles. PC and mobile are where it's at. And they got huge without anybody in the West, and console fans in particular, really noticing much.
Korea never had a stake in it iirc.
They just licensed development for 2 KOF games and 1 Metal Slug game to a couple of Korean companies when they went bankrupt the first time.
SNK has never been korean they justo handled the ips of Metal Slug and KOF to Mega and Eolith

Phase 1: Fatal Fury and Art of fighting reboots first, then tying into KOF reboot
Phase 2: ikari Warriors and Psycho Soldiers revivals and another Metal Slug/Ikari Warriors crossover, KOF sequel and Samurai Showdown Reboot.
Phase 3: Last blade reboot, Sequels to Fatal Fury and Art of fighting and Kizuna Encounter reboot, KOF sequel with Metal slug and Kizuna encounter characters thrown in, Last Blade x Samurai showdown crossover culminating in a reboot of Neogeo Battle Colloseum.
What plans did they even have? Almost all their relevant fighting games are on Steam (sorry SamSho fans) except KoF XI

漫威 is the Chinese name for "Marvel"."模式" means model. They want to emulate the Marvel model of using their IPs so they're not just thinking of games, like I said in my earlier post, but also comics and movies. They want SNK to become the Marvel Universe of the Gaming industry.

I'm sorry but have you touched the PC version at all? Switching between full screen and windowed it's very obvious, even with windowed it's slight but still noticeable.
