Confirmed "enhanced" content ready for PS4 Pro on Nov 10

I know it's been said a thousand times, but The Witcher 3 would have been a killer app for me.

I'm getting one next week regardless, but still.

Is The Last Guardian getting anything?

I'm excited to see how God of War and Spider-Man tackle the hardware in the future.

The Last Guardian will have a Pro mode as it comes out after PS4 Pro launch. Every game after November 10 will have one, it's a requirement.

Wasn't Ratchet and Clank confirmed?

Yes but no mention of when it's releasing.

Ill be my pro on release date and don't have any of these games except last of us. And I also don't have a 4k tv. Is dishonored launching with a pro patch? And I'm really wanting uncharted 4 with upgraded graphics

This is awesome! Thanks for putting this together.

Any way we can add a "rumored section" below and a last updated date?

Would be nice to see what is out and what is rumored to be coming

Surprised to see Knack is on the list. How do you improve perfection?
Knack was already a good looking launch game with great IQ, but the AA used blurred the image a wee bit. I would like them to use a better AA solution that does not blur. The improved resolution alone will take care of that, but touch up some textures and get this running at a fluid clip and I think many people will love a revisitation of the title. Knack is the perfect game to demonstrate great IQ and nice lighting, especially with HDR.

I'm starting to get super hyped about this. This is just the IQ bump that PS4 games need.

I really hope we hear from Dice soon. So thirsty for that BF1 patch. (And still really hoping for a retro BF4 patch, since the game is still very active and being supported Witch new content)

It is pretty much unknown how much of a visual upgrade can be expected for those of us with 1080p tvs.

What? It's not an unknown at all...

People have been supersampling/downsampling on 1080p displays for ages now.

The results are fantastic. The image quality boost is great, you just don't receive extra detail like you would on 4K displays. But you do get that "Pixar" effect of minimized shimmering, jaggies, and other artifacts that we are so used to seeing that make games look, well, like games.

Cool that there's a bunch of stuff ready at this point, but I'm not buying PS4 Pro until I can get a good deal on it. I'm really interested to see what the advantages are for PSVR, hope to see some good impressions after release.

Or I'll buy it if it's a huge upgrade to FFXV. I already spent too much damn money on that game, might as well go all in. (if the upgrades are worth it, which I doubt.)
I don't know if it's a huge difference, but I know on Pro, texture quality, density of foliage/objects, and framerate are all improved. I haven't looked into it that closely though, but it will be a superior experience on Pro.

There's no rule that a game with a 4K mode has to enable supersampling for 1080p TVs. That's what he is talking about. A game with a 4K mode still doesn't have to run their non-4K mode any higher than 1080p.

From what I understand it's automatic. You just choose 4K mode and it will downsample it to whatever resolution your TV is.

The PS4 Pro is rendering in 4K regardless of output settings (unless the game has a specific option for 1080p). You can downsample PS4 games right now if you hook it up to a 720p screen.

Enhanced content is meant to be 1080p content? Good idea and great topic in that case :)
I agree with this "Enhanced" should be 1080p Pro mode
Running at 4k is just running the at 4k
Something that all games after launch will do anyway
Are there actually any enhanced games outside Tomb Raider

That's not true, games like Horizon are just known to have higher resolution (not 4K) and other added benefits on a 4K display.

Wait...is it being implied that most "Pro" mode games (with the exception of RotTR) are only getting the benefit of being upscaled at 4k?? I could have swore when Sony revealed the Pro, while they did talk about 4k a lot, they made it sound like that there would be advantages for 1080p users as well.

I am so confused about this damn thing :(

I'm sorry to put it this way, but fuck 4k. I am not buying a new tv anytime soon, and since games can barely release with 1080p as their resolution, and if they do, very few run good at 1080p. They should be using this horsepower to get better performance out of 1080p, and sure...upscale it their games to 4k for those people with their checker buffering or whatever.

I can't imagine the performance increase of the PS4 pro would only be worthwhile for devs to take advantage of to basically just upscale their games.

I'm assuming you don't use the internet very often.

It's baffling.

You haven't read this thread have you?

That's an exception, RotTR for example appears to be pared back a bit from footage they showed

The Full List Of PS4 Pro Supported Games At Launch

Any chance the OP could be updated with details of each games Pro enhancements. I know there are threads for every game. but it would just be more convenient to have them all in the one place.

I cant wait to hear more about this Battlefield 1 update, come on already EA!

I hope we don't have to wait for launch and see it will had only have some extra bling bling with no increase in framerate or resolution. The disappointment will be big.

I'm actually expecting the very bare minimum effort, a resolution bump to 1080p with no additional effects and fps boost.

The problem is the details we have gotten so far are pretty vague outside of a few exceptions.

Thats probably why they haven't said a peep even though its coming out in under a week.... I readying my disappointment face.
Exactly!
For a new system being released in less than a week i am astounding by the lack of in depth reviews and impressions. Day one, but still WTF over?

I mean, even just having native 1080(as opposed to dynamic 1000p to 900p) with a more stable 60fps would be pretty good. The FPS was really the only issue with BF1 on PS4 in general, the visuals themselves looked really good already
