Doubtful. Although if contests returned maybe they will do eeveelutions based on beauty, cute, cool, etc. That were contest categories.

I think the most likely scenario is a special ribbon like the one in that eevee movie special is wearing is the key to evolving it.

It's okay bro. I want R/S contests to return too. Nothing more rewarding then getting pictures hung in the museum or stuff for my secret base from winning

It still annoys me how they ruined them after R/S. The contests were interesting and made some pokemon more useful.

maybe they're going to add a new dynamic into play, like good/evil. you would have to work with your pokemon and encourage it a certain way.

Well they keep emphasizing new battle mechanics that create stronger bonds with pokemon. If that isnt all pr speak maybe thats how you evolve this eevee.
