You could do that with every popular director really.

Burton is a fantastic director at what he does, wich is one thing. That thing doesnt fit with Superman and he certainly has overdone it over the years, its becoming boring.

Too bad Mars Attacks flopped and he stayed on the safe side of things since then, it was a great film.
