Crazy Ex Girlfriend Season 2 |OT| She's So Broken Inside

I was expecting Rebecca at some point would require a stay "mental health" facility but I wasn't expecting that she's already done that. Josh's entering the priesthood will probably go about as well as his other relationships, he's just doing the same thing he's done before but with Jesus this time.

So much to unpack...

As we established last season, fuck Rebecca's dad though.

Thought they were about to go this while series has been her thoughts from a mental institute there for a minute.

Next season might be crazy(er?)

So josh is doing what he usually does but with god instead of god because clearly he doesn't have some religious enlightenment and he doing it to avoid his current problems.

Haha thought that too for a brief moment when the nurse said Rebecca sings to herself constantly.

I still miss Greg. :(

I still miss Greg. :(

Me too. :( Kind of sounds like he won't really be in season 3 either, at least not for a while. An interview mentioned that he'd be like a moral compass for Rebecca and that wouldn't work during thriller/revenge season. :(

Maybe by the end of season 3 when Rebecca inevitably drops revenge and maybe gets help, Greg can come back for that.

I don't want Greg to come back. He got help for his problem while everyone else is just falling into an abyss.

Stay away Greg, stay far away.

Greg got out of that toxic environment on his own terms, stop trying to drag him back.

It's weird. He's my favorite character and if he were a real person I would be so happy for his personal growth, but because he's my favorite character I just want him back on the show in some capacity.

That was a damn good finale. I like that White Josh is still the sanest man on West Covina.

I liked that the episode showed that White Josh was against marriage. I feel like the show is slowly building up to him actually having a flaw.

That episode got dark quick.

It's really a shame that side characters haven't gotten as much screentime as last season, with the reduced episodes this time around.

I didn't expect the wedding to actually go through, but I didn't expect it to turn the way it did. It really changes how I see the show and Rebecca. It seemed cute and harmless how "crazy" she was (to an extent), but seeing the dark side of it with Robert adds so much context to how she is and her relationships with people.

Was she better off being medicated and in New York working on her career? Seeing Josh seemed like relapse rather than a revelation that she's unhappy. I might be digging too deep.

I think WhiJo's flaw is that he thinks he's above everything and everyone.

no, that's a fairly astute observation

the fuck happened

this swerve

Holy shit I just watched the finale and my god! I was worried the show was playing it safe and morphing into some kind of Ally McBeal lite to avoid cancellation but shit went dark and down real fucking quick. So glad it got renewed.

Damn that was a good finale. Things about get crazy next season, especially when Greg shows back up*

*Confirmed head canon

Josh about to get rekt by the Friendtopia

Is the whole season on CW? I stopped watching a lot of shows after they stopped using Hulu, but I might catch up now that the season is over with.

Me and my wife blitz this entire series over the weekend. Started season 1 on Thursday. We finished it yesterday.

My god some of those songs are just awfully hilarious.

Can't wait for season 3

Do we know when the Season 2 soundtrack will be collected and put up on iTunes? They're all piecemeal right now and pretty expensive, so I was hoping they'd have an album for each half of the season like for season 1.

Watching the first episode of season 1 again after that finale...seems like a psychotic break.

Finale was okay but man that season was rough. Probably rough enough to get me to stop watching. No memorable songs, all interesting characters got completely sidelined (or cut out, Greg). Many episodes and situations become parodies of the show. This might have been a first season wonder kind of show.

Guess you better soul train on out of here

Season 2 was super solid. Tap that Ass, Greg's Drinking Song, Devil Winds, Let's have Intercourse, Tell Me I'm okay patrick, Remember that we suffered...so many great songs.

It was a Shitshow, Research Me Obsessively, Ping Pong Girl, Math of Love Triangles, We'll Never Have Problems Again

I think was a pretty good season overall.

It was definitely weaker than season one. It was like a show with ADHD, just all over the place and starting and ending plots on a whim every couple of episodes. It had its moments and some good songs though (Love Triangle is top tier).

So I'm starting Season 2 since I missed it all because ya know, it came on Friday, Jesus Christ Rebecca is crazy

Netflix having it a week after the final episode airs is actually kind of amazing.

And since Josh is being discussed. Thought Bubbles. Damn. Hitting it close to home. Cutting deep.No No No No No No.
