Agreed.
I have gotten quite a few coworkers hooked on the show, but still can't get my wife to watch. Feels weird.

I've gotten coworkers and friends to watch a ton of shows (Silicon Valley, The Flash, Man Seeking Woman, Hannibal)...can't get a single person to watch this other than, ironically, my ex-girlfriend.

Hahahaha amazing.

Taylor, what is your problem?!

"NOT NOW DEREK"

Yeah, I heard some time back that they had a four season plan, I think they'll get it and I'd be happy with it ending properly after four seasons.

Had also heard they had a four or five season plan, so I'm excited they have it totally plotted out, and if they're talking about it like this, they will most likely get it :)

Also, weird question cause nobody buys them anymore, but any idea when/if season 2 will end up on DVD? I like owning them and Canadian Netflix doesn't have it :(

I'd be happy with four solid seasons. Seems about right for the type of story it is without eventually only having bad plotlines and lackluster songs.

My brother messages me asking if I want to hang out with him and his friend from TMZ, I go "lol no I'm at work." Twenty minutes later he sends me a photo of him and Rachel Bloom.
:-/

He never saw the LadyBoss video and didn't understand why I thought the difference in his two photos was funny. :(

Just finished season 2 and... eh... I liked the first so much more. So many characters and storylines just popped in and out rapid fire with very little care for overall cohesion or purpose. Also, many of the songs just felt flat or thrown in compared to season 1 (santa anna winds working the best imo). Worst though is that they made most of the characters downright unlikable. Darryl is insufferable, Josh is a meatheaded idiot, Rebecca is self-centered in less of a pitiable way and more just an asshole (she's the real villain of the show), Paula had some progression but ended up tossing a lot of that out the window just to return to being an enabler.

I dunno. I laughed a lot during the first season, now I'm mostly cringing. I think we're a lot worse off without Greg, but he had a great story arc that ended well, so I don't know what needs to happen. I hope season 3 is a lot more thought out in general. Season 1 was surprisingly one of my favorite shows last year, and I'm not going to say this season was a total stinker, but I was overall disappointed.

It was a messy first few episodes, but I think S2 ends a lot better than it started.

I see what you mean, though, about Greg's absence leaving a big hole. I don't think Heather's up for the job of being the series' "straight man" to everyone else's crazy.

Still a really great season, though.

I feel like the songs had about the same good-bad ratio as season 1's, though I suppose it's telling that Rebecca's Reprise draws entirely from season 1 songs.

Couldnt disagree more. I thought season 1 was dreadful. I watched both seasons on Netflix recently in the span of about a week. I found season 1 difficult to get through and it mainly came down to the men on the show. Specifically Greg and Josh. They're awful characters being portrayed by actors of questionable skill. I was thrilled when Greg was jettisoned, but then Josh continued to ruin pretty much every scene he was in for me in season 2. When the stories centered around the women, the show kicked a lot of ass.

Binge over 2X. I noticed some other stuff the 2nd time around.

Funny how in the Electric Mesa episode Rebecca mentions getting choked by licorice as a fetish then some episodes later there's a post-coital scene with her and Trent and she's puttng licorice away.

Also, can someone explain what the phrase "give good parent" means? Thanks.

Season 3 airs on my birthday! :D We're a day ahead in NZ so the 13th in 'Murica will be the 14th here. :P

There wasn't a single time in season 2 where I didn't laugh at the BLAM! opening lol. Every single f'n time.

Can't wait for season 3. Any idea when it'll show up on Netflix? CW shows usually arrive quickly, right?

In the US I think the deal is the entire season goes up one week after the season finale, in the UK it appears that the episodes go up individually either the next day or the next week after they air in the US (wikipedia just says the next Saturday)

Yeah, in the UK they show up about 12 hours after it airs in the US.

Love those new posters ❤️ Can't wait for my fave show to be back.

Did season 2 ever come out on DVD? I know it's ~old fashioned~ but I like having shows I like on DVD or bluray :( I know it definitely wouldn't come out on bluray (season 1 did not), but not even a cheap DVD for season 2? :(
