blank answer speaks for itself
I will play the game on dx11, but pick and choose which advanced effects are turned on. Start from "High" and add few ones that have god visual kick but are cheap to process.

get 670FTW, save money. They are almost the same damn thing and the 670 is easy to OC.
Tnx for the tip, you are right, the diffreance is allot.
What does the FTW means??
Is it an ease of use factor?
Now use this engine to create a fun game instead of a boring interactive benchmark.

So, briefly, could someone explain why everyone uses UE3 over CE3? I think, for a good five years now, CryTek have displayed their tech is beyond the competition's. Is it an ease of use factor? Licensee costs?
CE2 was PC only and CE3 just shipped its first game a year ago, it's also very late in the generation so most people won't switch at this point. Everything starts fresh next gen though. So, briefly, could someone explain why everyone uses UE3 over CE3? Dare to dream. It has to be a reference to this:

I haven't played the Crysis games... but are those leaves actually polygons? Most games seem to just apply leaf textures with transparencies on a two triangle plane. It might be different when it's closer to the viewer.

Bigger leaves are fully modeled and can be interacted with [wind, contacts with the player and objects]. Smaller bushes are "sprite" based.

I'll take a stable 30fps, please. MW3 looks better than Crysis 2 on 360 because of the framerate.
Sure, nice toad.
Modders laughs
Yo, i'm game from 2007 and as i look a little worse i'm open world game.
It's funny that this days modders mainly paint the line for best GFX without $$$mln
Sure nice toad thought it won't be in game.

One that is in the business of selling tech.Tessellated vegetation? What intelligent developer would waste an ounce of computer power on something that is imperceptible 99.99% of the time?
I think Crytek takes more time adding features to their engines than Epic does, but that's just based on what they've done with CE3 in a year. UE3 was pretty much the same for a long time, no?
