It's nice they added a slider for chromatic aberration, but I will say a bit of chromatic aberration does fit the game's style as old analog tvs/VHS tapes many used to use had some color blur effects going on, so it fits the style (but appreciate having the ability to alter the level or turn it off completely).
Sucks that the game doesn't have preload on steam

There are cutscenes, they were just embargoed.
I don't think most of those achievements are that hard. Depends on your experience with shooters. Getting S-rank will be difficult, but once you have super moves and better ex moves even that's "a bit" easier.
Most people who are decent at games will be able to beat at least 30-40% the bosses without too much trouble (only a few retries). People who like their hands to be held, or are just accustomed to that in modern gaming, will have great difficulty though.
Example... this is probably the hardest boss early in the game (first two areas) to complete. Most of the bosses are difficult to get an A+ grade (perfect run), but just completing them isn't so bad aside from the boss linked above. Again, that's just early game. They get harder, but just trying to provide an example.

First time i have pre-ordered from GMG and they dont send out keys a few days early. Hmph!
"We will be sending out keys after the game unlocks on Steam" suggests the keys have been distributed to GMG but they can't be sent out just yet, which makes me wonder if GMG was accidentally given "beta testing" keys that have a release state override and grant instant access to the game.

well that is true for all arcade games
pure playthrough without retrying should be the timer if you want a number. otherwise it's 999+ hours.
