And we needed more Claire. By the end of the series, she was sorta barely there. I hope she reappears in Jessica Jones as Jess's friend or something, then again in Luke Cage.

I'm trying to think if at any point, Murdock would be able to cross over with any other MCU heroes, and honestly, the only one he might cross over with would be Scott Lang... cause Lang's a criminal, but also Lang is in San Francisco, so it wouldn't happen.

So Stick is just a blind guy who somehow manages to develop heightened senses similar to Matt Murdock through just training?
I figured that the chemicals that got into Matt's eyes were somehow special and exclusively gave him those abilities, therefore Stick's abilities are interesting.
Looking at this link about Stick and this one about Stone, I'm confused. It seemed from the show that the guy Stick was kneeling to who had his back to the camera with all the scars (seemingly Stone) is Stick's superior, but in those pages it's the opposite. Did I get that wrong?

90% certain in MCU continuity, Karen Page is gonna die. Also 90% sure it will happen in Season 2. She killed my boy Wesley. She can't get away with it.

I hope Daredevil is going to stick to his street-level buddies like Iron Fist, Elektra, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, etc and not get involved in the larger MCU. Daredevil is pretty protective of Hell's Kitchen and isn't out to save the world every day.

I could see Black Widow or Hawkeye crossing with Daredevil once Kingpin becomes a bigger influence on organized crime and smuggling. SHIELD would probably want to keep any eye on stuff coming in from overseas if Hydra is bringing weapons or tech in through the black market.
And how cool would it be to see Elektra or Bullseye gunning for Cap, Black Widow, etc.?

One thing I really liked about this is the general avoidance of the "Case/Monster of the Week" episodes, which I think is down in part to the relative freedom afforded by the Netflix streaming format, allowing them to focus on world-building and the overall narrative arc of the season. It's something that brought down the early episodes of Hannibal for me.

100% agree. The Stick episode was the only one I felt like filler, something to do in order to fill the episode limit. Everything else flowed beautifully though.
Why? I don't have a problem with her character dying but why will it be the "best episode"? I'm fine with her dying as long she doesn't move to Hollywood, become a porn actress, betray Daredevil's secret identity, fall in love with Daredevil, move back, then get killed.
Also, while her death is probably certain, she does seem to be more interesting than Karen Page from the comics. She seems a lot more capable with that gun than I would have thought (and before you start, I don't mean accuracy wise, I mean this clearly isn't the first time she has fired a gun before) so she probably has a few more surprises before she bites the bullet.

Just finished it guys... One thing I loved it, is how they didnt use the cliche of getting "the girl" on the team, and making her a love interest of anybody else (Looking at you, Arrow). Literally, loved every single bit of this show.

I love that there's Marvel's "Big Team" with guys like Iron Man, Captain America, etc, and now we have the guys at street level cleaning up, stopping the people who would obviously spring up to try exploiting things in a world where alien invasions and such exist. The format of a show like this allows for the little guys (who are meant to be more human) to actually be more human.
This was basically like "Batman Begins: The TV Series" (obviously with Marvel properties) and I have to say I liked it a lot better than some of the MCU movies. TV shows have more room to breathe anyways.
So, on to random thoughts:
- Karen pauses for a moment at the end there, like she realizes something when he sticks his hand out. I must have missed it, anyone want to fill me in or was I imagining it?
- Costume complaints ("Why is there black", "it doesn't look good", etc.) can be fixed between seasons, Melvin even said "it's not finished yet". I thought it was alright; true enough to the comics without looking too spandex-y.
- People finding things "off" with D'Onofrio's performance might not consciously be connecting why; there are points where his tone and manner of speaking is identical to his performance as Edgar in Men In Black. It threw me for a bit until I could pin it down.
- Gao's comment about traveling 'further' than China really sounded like something supernatural. Black Sky was obviously something big too.
- Would love a full seasons of Daredevil vs. Punisher playing Cat and Mouse, holy shit.
- I hope Leland was just unconscious (it didn't look like that far of a fall) because he was great in every scene he was in. If not, it'd be hard to work him back in anyways.
- It's a shame the ink hadn't dried on Marvel and Sony's deal with Spiderman because references to the Bugle and such as "The Bulletin" were achingly obvious. Oh well, maybe next time around.

Just finished it (up too late and gotta wake up for work tomorrow, damn you Netflix!). It was great, much better than I expected.
Red outfit seemed kinda goofy (the black one looked really cool though), but I guess you can't help it.

If there is another season it's not in 4 years. It sounds like you are assuming the other shows are 1 a year, but Jessica Jones is later this year, and both Cage and Iron Fist are probably next year

Sucks that Ben was killed off, but I could see them using his nephew Phil at the Bugle being inspired by his uncle to get into journalism, etc.. He could be closer in age to Peter and even has Goblin affiliations so there's a lot to play with there.
I'd also expect Claire and maybe even Turk to pop up in some fashion in all of the Netflix shows.

Also I loved how episode #2 is essentially the plot of "Ive got batman in my basement" from Batman TAS. Just done much much better (that was one of the worst b:TAS eps)

This might sound blasphemous but I might have liked this than most of the movies. I never would have thought I would had liked the Daredevil character this much. Something about this felt intimate and really expanded the universe unlike the movies where they hit one point after another and hits you with action all the time. I really liked this show.

What an...interestingly inconsistent series. I don't mean from episode to episode or anything, I mean from scene to scene. I liked the entire thing quite a bit, but there were some jarring tonal choices. The entire scene at the end where Foggy is celebrating putting Fisk away just comes off as bizarre, and there are scenes scattered through the show like that

Ben knew once he wrote the story he was fair game for Fisk. He had agreed to write it after urging from his wife. Unfortunately Kingpin was already on to them. Ben said he needed a second source in order for him to agree to write the story. Karen got it for him. She was just meeting the demands Ben laid down.
