NIIIIIICE. Great trailer. This will quench my Superhero appetite until Civil War.
Wait that's the Punisher? SHIIIIET

Uncover his nose, it makes his head look squished
Ah I see. I asked because a friend of mine is very against using the Punisher as a villain. But I don't necessarily agree, I think he'll make a really cool villain.
On separate news, Murdock's glasses still look really dumb.
This poster though. Didn't even notice the Punisher Skull.
The "one bad day" conversation is totally going to be from this scene.
I'm hyped, but man, Foggy is the fucking worst.
Karen should keep. Fools literally give her the guns to do the job.Biggest bodycount prediction time, Frank or Karen? ;P
Speaking of, I hope they take advantage of the shared universe for once and have SOME reference to the accords. Obviously DD and Punisher aren't creating Sokovia levels of destruction but they're still creating vigilante levels of mayhem in one of the world's most prominent city-scapes.I'm looking forward to this more than I am Civil War. Holy shit it looks good.
I was kinda hoping the opening shot of the first episode of season 2 would be Foggy's gravestone. With zero explanation, and no one ever mentions or talks about it.

The Frank Miller stuff. Plenty of other good runs after that (Daredevil is the most consistent superhero comic in terms of quality).
Writers to look for:
Ann Nocenti
Karl Kesel
Brian Michael Bendis
Ed Brubaker
Mark Waid
You could throw a stick and hit a good Daredevil comic.
One thing though. Punisher goes after badguys, Daredevil goes after badguys. Why is Daredevil going after him?
Hope this goes into his Winter Solider background story :^))
Why do people keep forgetting Kevin Smith
Gonna miss Wesley so much![]()
I don't think his absence from that list means he was forgotten.
Agreed. He did fine work in Daredevil.People may shit on Kevin Smith but he probably has made one the biggest contributions to the Daredevil mythology.
No half measures.
IIRC in Anti-Venom, Punisher had no problem killing drug users when Eddie Brock was trying to get them help and cure their addiction. If this is the kind of Punisher we're getting I wouldn't be surprised if Matt wants to bring him down.
Most versions of the Punisher don't murder junkies unless they're selling or murdering. I don't think he's ever killed a user for just using.
He's killed junkies or at least tried to in the Anti-Venom run.
I never read that one. I've read most of his solo series and that never happened. Guess it's down to the writer. Like, he's been cast as a vile murderer and crazy loon and war junkie, but he's never killed defenseless innocents*
* except that Angel Punisher shit run and Matt Fraction's garbage Punisher run. That's never happened in the original runs or the good modern ones.
After Bernthal's vile comments praising the Punisher as a role model to law enforcement and the military, this makes me cautiously optimistic. But we'll see.
I think the general idea was that he didn't consider heroin and crack addicts as innocent, maybe to contrast him with Eddie's "they're sick" approach.
Kellog?
If I'm recalling correctly, Berenthal came off as diplomatic as he could on the subject. It didn't sound like an appraisal of Punisher as much as it was a self-awareness that Punisher's black/white worldview means something to people in a way that affects or reinforces the reality we live in.After Bernthal's vile comments praising the Punisher as a role model to law enforcement and the military, this makes me cautiously optimistic. But we'll see.
Stick is in.So I guess this season will only deal with Punisher and Elektra? I wonder what happen to those Stick and Madame Gao storylines.
