Considering were talking about Darius games, that's a nice slip right there.Zuhzuhzombie!! said:I think there was a Genesis and SNES version of Darius 2 that wasn't bad, but overall, the series really just lakes "oomph".

Sorry for the four month old reply. I don't get what you mean by "same" controls. I was able to control it just fine holding PSP vertically and moving with dpad or analog. Shooting with O and Triangle. Maybe I had to remap controls in the PS1 emulator settings, but I know it can be played just fine that way. It controls exactly like Star Soldier for example.DaCocoBrova said:You mean TATE? The controls still stayed the same when I tried it, which made it unplayable.

adversesolutions said:I still need to play it more, but basically you don't just shoot your way through the levels, you also have this burst pod that you can summon which mows down shit in front of you. However the meter drops the more you use it so you have to use it in areas with lots of enemies, like asteroid fields. While this is an ok gameplay element, it feels a little odd to be moving this thing up and down like a waterpump as you go through the levels.
Then the bosses. These are a bit of a pain because they all have a big laser attack that you need to counter with your own laser. Problem is that the timing is really tight. Not sure if this gets easier or not, hope it does because at the moment I've only laser countered the first boss.
You mean like in Border Down? Ooooh, I loved that game.adversesolutions said:I still need to play it more, but basically you don't just shoot your way through the levels, you also have this burst pod that you can summon which mows down shit in front of you. Taitos robotic fish shooter appears to be swimming to Europe. Germanys USK rated the PSP Darius game under the name Dariusburst.
