Where am I supposed to go at the start of Anor Lando? There are 2 paths: One ends with a yellow fog wall that says "Sealed by the Great Lord's power and the other one ends with an unfinished bridge.

Think like you would if you were looking for a secret area! look left on the first part of the bridge.. i'll give you that much

Not sure if this is related but if you enter a boss door ,go to menu and quit game from there you will restart game outside fog door. Pretty cheap lol

That is indeed what the IGN video was showing, only they did not do it at a boss. Anyway, how I know this to be the case with bosses is I was fighting Quelaag the other night with 5 flasks and used 3 before I lost my connection, so the game restarted from the menu as if I had quit out. Once I loaded my save, I was outside the fog door with only 2 flasks left and died anyway once I fought her again.

So, quitting during the boss manually would obviously do the same thing, but you run the risk of corrupting your save as well. Because the method is to quit after you die, while the game is in the process of loading your last bonfire. It's fucking retarded to even consider this, plus it comes with the added risk of losing all of your progress to boot, lol.

Gah I already went that way... twice! I suppose I'll have another look. Thanks for the help guys.

Is there a shortcut back from sen to firelink?
If you picked up the Cage key in Sen then you can use it one of the cages at the top (before the boss) to get back to the bottom quickly. Don't know of any other shortcuts

So does DEX simply stop boosting weapon again at 40(or 41 was it)? I keep putting points in it for the hell of it and it is not doing anything lol.

FFS!

Is there any fucking way to respec? I cannot believe this garbage build, I'm never going strength or melee in a DS game again.

2nd bonfire in the tomb of the G..... and I am NOT having fun right now. Dying 500 times in a row on the first assy mobs after the bonfire. I'm getting dizzy... really lost all my will to play this game. Almost 40hours in and THIS is how my will is broken? By some fucked up glitchy mobs that teleport/clip through the ground that virtually 1shot me with full havel gear + ring of steel protection and 45 str.

Shit.
Ass.

If you're playing online you'll probably see a message or two on the right path... but even if you did, I don't blame ya if you ignored it.

When I saw it, I thought "there's no fucking way I'm going on something that narrow"... but alas...

Big question:

Am leaving on holiday for a week from tomorrow evening, don't think I can go cold turkey from this game that long. How can I transfer my save?

I assume its locked for copying, but does it work with that PSN+ Cloud stuff, and if so whats involved/any time delays?

No, he will not move to Firelink Shrine if he is aggro. When I was first let him out of the cage, I knew nothing about him but decided I didn't like him so I attacked. It turned it he was much stronger than I was and killed me. He then stays in that stairwell area until you go back and fight him again. I did just that, and you get that "ring of favor and protection".

@the guy who accidentally hit him: The only downside to having killed him is that I don't have the stone you need to invade people. Might be a big deal depending on how you want to play the game.
What stone is that? I dont see a vwndor at the first bell

I think I came to the conclusion that people that were not having trouble with this part were running around the column in the center TO THE RIGHT. I'm not talking about getting to the end and then running right toward the archer on the right, I'm talking about that column in the center that you run AROUND and then continue straight. If you go right there, I think the one on the left will not shoot at you when you get to the top. If you go left there, the one on the left will shoot at you even after getting to the top and the section is simply not beatable.

That's what I think anyway, I didn't confirm. I just know that I went left there 100% of the time, and then when going right at the top I would get shot in the back 100% of the time and die. At least 2 other people confirmed they always went right in the center, and didn't have problems.

Haha well that's possible. If you go over to the left you may be aggroing the left archer and he sticks on you even after you go over to the right side.

After running up to the square column I went over to the right side myself. Ran up with my shield raised but that was unnecessary since all the shots missed anyway. When I was going up to deal with the archer on the right I did take a spear in the back from the guy on the left when I got to the top, but that didn't take off too much damage and I was at the top so it didn't knock me off. By the time I got in melee range of the one on the right, the archer on the left wasn't shooting me.

Afterwards I went over to kill him to snag the loot behind him. At that very point I was invaded so I had to go deal with that as well. :P

I got through the first fog gate in Sen's. Up a stair case is a constant explosion of fire. What do I do?

Run past it. There is a Bonfire nearby. Location:
The first spot where the boulders land. Drop down where part of the wall is missing.

Okay people - I need help! How the fuck do I shoot my crossbow in first person on the ps3? What do I need to press? I have wasted thousands on souls on bolts, I can't take this anymore!

Leading up to my rage this has happened :

- Wasted roughly 30h worth of materials on weapon upgrades that turned to shit
- Accidentally killed my covenant leader
- Wasted two boss souls on two weapon "upgrades" that turned out to be huge downgrades.
- Have one of the best rings break on me because of an accident
- Lost probably 10k souls X 50 times in a row by now
- Not having leveled in like 5h-7h of gametime.

Sigh, sounds like I'm whining but really now things aren't going my way.

You need to run in between explosions. There should be a staircase at the end of that platform that will lead to the second platform. When you're on this platform, turn right and run away from the fire throwing dude (and make it quick...he's still going to throw another fireball). You'll notice a break in the wall...you can fall down there onto a bonfire.

Where can I find that key?

Izalith spoiler:
Did anyone else meet up with Siegmeier there? I couldn't stand back and watch him die for me, had to jump down the pit with him. Together we faught off those nasty creatures, awesome moment :)

Need some guidance in Lost
Izalith, I got to the hidden bonfire under the larger structure that you reach the top of by running up the huge tree?limb walkway... thing
but I have nowhere to go, all I can see is bullshit in every direction.

You can't. You can only aim bows, not crossbows.

At least you're not me.!!! Listen to this... I'm playing pyro.. leveled up my fist to 4 (not five!) beat Queelag... and found the secret door with the other pyro trainer... got a nice spell off her and promptly decided to show my girlfriend how it looked...

accidentally roasted the spider trianer and her egghead friend aggro'd... spider died right away... Accidentally told my other trainer bout the new spell and he disappeared..

went to find him and he tried to kill me and died...

can't get the other trainer cuz i didn't bother to level my pyro up to 5 ... which is the only time she'll show up in the swamp..
!!!! ugh!! so i guess it's just str. and dex for me the rest of the game =(

look for an upside down halfpipe looking thing and go into it. You can see it pretty easily from where you are.

he went did a king leoric for me. "FOR SPARTA" and took them out quick. I don't think he's supposed to die as his kid is looking for him

can i arrow the firepot thrower? i can hit him for 8 dmg a shot, i have 900 arrows, just wondering if it'll break my game or if i'll lose an item if i kill him with arrows

posted this in the other thread... but ..

what level did you guys take the twins on in Arno Londo with??? i'm level 55 due to bumping endurance to wear gear... and i think i am not getting summoned due to being too high??

did anyone else beat it at this level?? i don't think i can do it alone without some new strategy

Look in the opposite direction of the hidden bonfire, you should see two T-rex'es standing next a pipe looking thing. You can walk inside that and go up to a non-lava area.

Haha yeah, that guy hits hard, he was doing like 500 damage with every swing.

Why would you want to go through the boredom of pelting him with arrows? Just run to the bonfire and then run up to kick his ass. He's quite easy to kill once you let him go into a certain animation.

Hopefully this will clarify some stuff for the people having trouble with the archers in Anor Londo, or those wondering why people are having trouble with it when it was so easy for them. Sorry if my MS Paint skills leave a little to be desired.

If you take the blue path you will die basically every time because the archer on the left will get line of sight on you and aggro.

If you take the green path you will be able to safely kill the archer on the right without killing the archer on the left first.

If you have Poison Arrows, you can stop at the yellow spot and kill the archer on the left from a distance before proceeding.

I was level ~40. If you are human I think you can summon NPCs to help you even if no one online is around your level?

I beat them at level 50 or so, but I fought them as a human and summoned two buddies.

there are 2 paths for me to run, I don't know which one is the correct one, I don't really want to repeat getting here again

do I go the path with the tiny walkway or the way he's facing?

Eh Monster Hunter doesnt feel clunky to me. Slow? Maybe...but look at what you're wearing/carrying.

Also how do items transform into demons?

Turn left coming out of the fog gate. Go up the first set of stairs, race to the second set of stairs and go up. When coming off those stairs, make a U-turn towards the right and fall off the ledge, bonfire is right there.

really?? there are no NPC's around that i can summon?? where do their signs appear.?? i'm trying ont he bridge.. should i go through the rafters in the church first?

It's a risk, but I believe the drop-off to the hidden bonfire can be found after running up two flights off stairs. As for getting to the dude who's dropping fire bombs, take the path to the left and go up.

Do the summons show up near the door itself or i was getting people showing up on the initial bridge before the rafters?

You can take out both of them with poison actually. Saves a lot of headaches. Neither get a single shot in with that method.

I actually tried but my arrows wouldn't hit the second one for some reason. Couldn't figure out why, just figured he was slightly out of range.

I think I summoned two guys at the door that leads to the hall with the Giant Halberd Knights.

I know that Knight Solaire's sign is somewhere in the big room right before the boss
