Huh?

I don't speak Blanka player.

:( I was being facetious, I'm not sure you read this thread but 2-3 posts above yours I was hating on the very same spot and I was called a bad player/unprepared ( how the hell are you even supposed to be prepared for mobs that don't even pop up until the last 3% of a location). Guess my sarcasm was too meta *shrug*

Fuck her, I'm not even a pyro xD

Oh, guess I got lucky then because neither am I and I would've pumped her full with my humanity... on a related note, what happens with the
Gravelord
covenant now that I'm done with cataboms/tomb of the giants?

My issue with these guys is simply the layout of the dungeon doesn't permit for room to fight them. If you try to take them face on, you will lose because they will rip your stamina to shit in one combo and thus it will lead to your death before you can back off to regain it/heal yourself. Too many tight areas with ledges to fall off, and yet they don't fall of as hard as I try to angle them to push themselves off.
The four legged skeletons are assholes but they're also fairly weak to pyromancy from what I've experienced. A Chaos Fireball will usually take out a good chunk of their health. The rest is just circling around them to finish them off.

Believe me, before I found that out I was about to rip my hair out at this area.

by the way i came across my first cheater today. his PSN was Tom1811. He would not take any damage whatsoever no matter how many times i hit him. Cheesy prick.

Ah my bad Corkster, didn't notice the post. :P

As for the pryomancy tip moonspeak that would be a solid solution if I used any magic whatsoever, but I don't. :(

I managed to find a way to cheese them on getting them stuck on a ramp area. I just came up to an orange lit veil of light, but should I go through it?

Oh and I'm out of estus flasks, ugh. :(

Edit: Nvm can't even go through. Fuck my life. I'm going to have to find a way to climb out of here now aren't I? Jesus christ.

Double Edit: Or I can warp out... just not sure if I should. Is there a boss for tomb of the giants somewhere else? I feel like I barely explored this place due to having to avoid so much to stay alive till the lantern.

What does the Hornets Ring do, and where do I get it? Also loving my +5 bandits knife...

it ups the critical rating, i don't think anything can survive a bandit knife+15 if it can be backstab

Which bonfire are you at? There is one bonfire a couple of minutes before a boss. And considering how annoying it is to get to that bonfire from "scratch" I'd suggest making sure you're not at that bonfire before leaving.

I'm at the bonfire where if I go down just past like 3+ all four skeleton men, then you go across a ridge where you see bottomless blue, and on the right is an orange lit mist veil door, but I can't go through it.

Been rolling around with the mail breaker trying to time parries until I can get the parrying dagger. Armorwise mostly with the Gold-Hemmed Cloak, it's so much better than the armor's I've found up til now... I love the hood from it too but don't feel like my speedy thief digs the skirt... so manchettes and the elite knight boots for some poise. I think it looks pretty good for a ninja character.

Damn I need to start looking into some new armor. I'm still using the black leather set because I feel like I haven't found any armor that's better. I will probably use that gold-hemmed stuff if the stats are higher.

BTW the parrying dagger is a really simple grab. Even if you only go into the londo ruins with that specific purpose, it won't take long to get it (and it's fucking awesome!)

fuck these mushroom men. one shotting me like nobody's business. 30k souls in their little pond atm >:c

Come back later, the orange veil is event-related and will disappear after that.

Yeah :/ I got lucky enough to go to places in the "correct" order. All you can do now is exit and go to other places in the game. For future reference, you are at the correct bonfire atleast, i.e the one before the boss.

I was having trouble with this.
Get yourself a pyro glove and learn Iron Flesh. When you get into the fight, charge down the first King and after you are close (like, touching the cunt) cast Iron Flesh, go 2 handed with your weapon and just go to fucking town. Iron Flesh makes the fight seriously easy. don't curse yourself for the fight either, you don't need it to damage them.

Wow
Iron Flesh
did the trick! Thanks for the tip.

You can't. You have to farm them. New Lando Darkwraiths are good. Unless you unlocked the final area before the boss, the enemies before him have a 100% droprate on various chunks.

I know you cannot buy Chunks. I was just poking fun at 1stStrike ;)

Im at the
Taurus Demon
I done the jumping off the tower trick once but then he just stands still and blocks me in between the stairs and the white mist. This happens every time...any other tricks to beat this thing?

Ayup, next character's gonna be a thief.

So where do I go now? I have just defeated the Blight boss, and the Ceasless. Tried going further down that road, but that seemed a bit to hard right now (Hunter (semi dexbuild):SL 41). Went back to the forrest and killed the Butterfly, Hydra and tried to kill the swordwulf, but after a couple of tries I said fuck it. Then I ventured into the door that was opened after I rang the two bells, but did not stand a chance against the first two enemies. The only choice I have left is Lando, but then I probably need to stock up on the items which makes me able to kill ghost? Or is there anything else I can do?

I have not had much trouble in the game yet, so I feel like I meet a wall now. Unless New Londo is the path to go to.

I have got a Uichi+7, (laito+6), Spidershield+6 and the gold hooded something for armor. Got plenty of other swords, but don't know if they are better than the Uichi?

Okay, so I'm sort of running out of places to go.

1) I can go to the other Londo place to fight ghosts, but I don't have enough of that stuff that let's me hit them. What do?

2) What is
this giant penis thing back at firelink shrine? I can't talk to him, but I don't want to stab in case it pisses him off. He's sleeping it seems?

3) Is there another place unlocked in the forest after the wolf fight? I never found anymore areas to explore there.

2: If you talk to the guy sitting next to the bonfire, you are able to speak to him, that was what I did (I also shot a few arrows into him, and that didn't piss him off). Do not know what happens if you kill him. It does take a tonn of arrows...

Man, the
Painted
World is quite amazing. Really strong atmosphere, good loot and some dangerous new foes. I can't believe that this piece of amazing content is basically a hidden part of the game. I love it.

You can go down to the sewer and get cursed to gain the ability to kill the ghosts. They also drop Jagged Blades (the ghosts do) that are cursed innately and can attack them no matter what.

Shit, I've never seen Corky so salty in my life :(

*leaves thread*

Ha, join the club!

Apparently, if you lure him towards the fog gate, he loses his footing and dies automatically? At least, that's how a GAFer explained it to me last night.

He's gimp anyway!

Fuck, almost had
Orstein and Smough
on my first try, killing the skinny first.

Then I tried again and got owned after cornering myself against a broken pillar. >.> Haven't been able to get any progress after three more tries. I might have to break down and summon someone.

Where can I buy transient curses? I want to beat the old Londo place, but I only have 1 curse left after getting stuck in a rock and having to restart the game. ; ;

. 4000 souls per transient curse.

They are 4k each from the vendor in the aqueducts. (the way from firelink to the depths)

Yeah, he jumps after you and grabs the ledge next to the fog gate. If you mash his hand he loses his grip and falls to his death. Fun times. :)

Ah, that explains it! I was running away for dear life in a fruitless attempt to glitch back through the fog gate (I was not prepared for/expecting a fight at all), when he lunged at me and gave me the opportunity to wail on his hand... which I did. It all makes sense now.

Zeliard said:
Haha there's actually an animation for it? Still need to go face that guy.
No, not really. That's part of the reason for our confusion, I think. It looks like a standard death animation as far as I can remember.

Just wondering how many players decided to go into the
Painted World of Ariamis
before killing the boss in Anor Londo?

I did. The part with the skeleton wheels frustrated the hell out of me. :P

Felt like an asshole for killing
crossbreed priscilla
, but it had to be done, damnit!
there was a trophy at stake
:(

I'll never understand people who get satisfaction out of using an invincibility glitch and going into people's games to kill them. They have nothing to gain other than killing the host. I'm being dead serious when I say that if you're that guy and you're reading this you should really think about yourself and your motivations, because that kind of behavior is borderline sociopathic.

I've been lucky enough not to encounter these assholes but reading all of the accounts in this thread just boggles my mind.
