Perry seems like an interesting guy. You have to kind of admire the fact that he's helping out with the sale. It shows that he still takes personal ownership of his company, even though it's part of a larger parent.

But yeah, also gotta agree that Shiny hasn't had an interesting game for a while now.

I actually thought that the talent from Shiny left when that one guy went out on his own to startup Neversoft (or was it Neverhood?)

Alot of good talent left to form Planet Moon Studios IMO. They are a good company but they manage to make games with niche appeal.

He was important in the 16 bit era but like a lot of game companies and designers, they never really had the impact they once did in the following generations despite still being treated like rockstars by the gaming press. I, for one, am glad he resigned. Bad management has made a mess of the same company that revolutionized the RPG genre with Sacrifice and made a name for itself as an action platformer in MDK.
