The article seems to imply the animation portion to still be around, saying that people from the Premier group will be folded into them. That could mean that those particular animation BRD/ DVD projects will still be around.
I'm sure they will be fine. They have to do decent business for WB considering how often they pump them out. They will probably just reassign them and call them "DC Animation" or something.
This doesn't sound like it jeopardizes the DC movies. Sounds more like clearing out a part of the distribution bureaucracy rather than the actual projects that flowed through it. Nothing to see here unless other news pops up.

Please let this be the case. I've loved seeing all the graphic novel adaptations that wouldn't have made it otherwise. I mean, frick, Year One and Under the Red Hood? And the upcoming The Dark Knight Returns?
I thought, finally, we'll see all the best DC stories adapted into animation. And then this happens.
I don't know where to put this because didn't see a thread
but checked out Iron Man Rise of Technovore last night (didn't realize it came out like 2 months ago), and it was just so so bland. I get that Marvel has various projects in the line, but a movie with Iron Man, The Punisher (who gets top billing in the credits for being in like 10 mins), Hawkeye, Black Widow and Shield, but nothing happens.
