This series has been very weird with its platforms, 1st one being on 360 apart from that chop till you drop one on wii, then two was multiplatform, three exclusive and this one timed.

Regardless be picking it up on day one.

When Rise of the Tomb Raider finally gets its PS4 release it will probably sell < 30k copies in the NPD. Dead Rising 4, less than that.

I feel like if it was it would be console exclusive thinking toward capcom funding.

Makes sense why the trailer had nothing so rather that say anything like they did with TR and have a possible mess of PR/negatively they don't say anything. I feel that's better as long as the info comes out shorter after like in this case.

Actually expected this to be a full-on exclusive. Huh.

My biggest takeaway from this Microsoft's E3 was that they're an increasingly difficult position to gain full-on exclusivity. Even Capcom was smart enough not to exclude Steam this time.

Could mean a PS4 release, a Steam release or an NX release for all we know.

To be fair, its not always a black or white situation. MS might be funding most of the game but Capcom negotiated well enough to secure the possibility of them releasing in other places later.

Probably Capcom doesn't have the money to market and publish the game themselves and MS is doing that, in exchange they have a year of exclusivity. Then is up to Capcom to decide where else they can publish. Sounds fair to me.

I thought it was a straight up exclusive. Not really a game that I'd be eagerly awaiting anyway, with DR3 never coming to PS4. Probably something that will be a decent PS+ offer in mid-2018, but nothing more than that.

Dead Rising 3 isnt a MS exclusive either, since it released for Steam later. Thats why!
