Denial on 360 RE5 exclusivity chatter

you know, that's really stupid. are you telling me that you're not EVER gonna get a 360? there are and there will be plenty of good (exclusive) games for the system. you gonna miss out on those because... uh.. because you 'like' sony or what?

Maybe he likes his non-gaming free time, and money in his pocket.

Just because you don't want to own every single console known to man doesn't mean you have a particular hate or love for any company.
 
There's no way in hell that Microsoft can get Resident Evil 5 exclusive, not even time exclusivity IMO. Besides, if they did lock up a major Japanese game it would've been announced at Tokyo Game Show.

Some of you guys are just setting yourself up for disappointment.

No, because I have a gaming PC, will have a Wii, have a PSP and will have a PS3. And I have a wife and some 50 hours work a week. I can only play a very limited number of games and this is the only must play for me thats maybe coming only to xbox360.
 
You will probably get a typical fanboy remark. I don't understand why anyone would have so much loyalty to one company unless you work for them or something.

I wonder if things would have been different if RE4 (in its form now) had come out instead of RE1 remake way back then.... and didn't have a PS2 port announced before the Cube one had even been released.

Would RE4 and Metroid Prime 1 in the same year have been enough to make you say wow? RE4 would probably have sold heaps and Capcom would have been happy!

Also I wonder if Nintendo had used CDs instead of carts back on the N64.......

It's definitely time for something different with regards to the Biohazard series.

Hopefully Capcom utilises motion sensing extensively for the PS3 version.

Thats what I dont understand, even if it isnt 360 exclusive, it will still be on 360, so why should it be a disappointment?

I hate it how you can never turn it off. You just have to use it. And then it's all like brrrrr brrrrr in your hands. And there's nothing you can do about it. You have to sit there and take all the brrrr the game throws at you. Awful stuff.

No, but still I get a Wii, because I think it is a nice gimmick, but if you read my replies in other topics, I prefer innovation in the games not in the way they are controlled.

Because now theres gonna be a 50 page thread building up to the x06 conference going on and on about how awesome RE5 footage would be, then instead of a big exclusive franchise people will be treated to a montage of stuff we already knew about. Then over the following 2 weeks we get another dozen 20 page threads about how MS dropped the ball and X06 was a bust despite the fact that the whole hype for the event was built around a loosely contructed news story by a 3rd rate video game business site who inexplicably post unfounded rumours as if they were news.

I have no problem, I'll play RE5 anyway, maybe I have to buy a 360 for it, maybe I have to wait a year or maybe I'll get the superior version from the beginning.

and btw. I dont say 360 has only one good title. There are lots, but many are on PC too and most are just not on my must have list. If I had the time to even play all the games on the consoles I own I was probably eager to play those too. Maybe 20 years ago when I was a student and single.
