You don't pre-order anything from services where you can't cancel your order unless you want to pre-load it and that's it. That's the incentive, not the beta access.

is this thing working for anyone else or is it all shitting the bed? Download took forever and the 360 kept signing off of live, then we get it and now it wont let us get on? Xbox connection test shows that there is a service alert but that shows that there is problems with purchases. Does that effect this?
And I don't know how the codes worked for the PS4, but as soon as I redeemed my bungie code for the XB1 I got two additional DL codes, so two of my friends could play as well. It sounds to me like they were simply giving preorders early access while gearing up for an eventual stress test, which is the RESPONSIBLE thing to do. And those that participate on Saturday get an in-game reward.

Have fun y'all! It's a very satisfying beta. Now begins the wait till the full game.
What a brilliant move. Destiny is going to be slammed launch day. Why not work out all the kinks months in advance so the game can be super smooth on day one? BF4 was an incredible game but it's appeal was muted because of all the problems it had at launch (and beyond) It never got to reach its full potential.
You are flatly wrong. The incentive is listed as a "pre-order bonus." Since when is a bonus not an incentive?
Anyway, I'm done commenting on it. This thread is for people just getting access. I'll take up my grievance with Sony. If you believe in your beef as a consumer, make sure you use the proper channels, so I'll try and follow that advice.
Amazing game. Those who are just getting a taste, I hope you're in the clan and we get to cross paths and take out some walkers together. I don't wish anyone to think poorly of Bungie for making this game. I simply felt slighted on the purchase end. PEACE.

It's not working for me. I was in the middle of downloading it on th PS4 it freaked out and rebooted a few times and now it's in safe mode.
Edit: none of the safe mode options are working. Think my PS4 is dead.

What? Sony has nothing to do with the beta being all access. That's all Bungie, so you're barking up the wrong tree. Not to mention you are the only person of this opinion. It's so ridiculously selfish and entitled is boggles my mind. PEACE.
Buying the PS4 version (technically already did since it's paid off) but I'm downloading the XB1 version. Would like to see how it looks/runs in comparison. Have an even amount of PS4/XB1 friends who are picking this up so I mainly want to see if I gel with one over the other.

I don't get why/how they're able to get away with locking away an important part of the story behind PS+? From my experience with the beta, it seems like the Strikes are basically the boss fights of the campaign.

I got a Warlock and a Titan to level 8, so i might have to try Hunter now, but so far i am leaning towards Titan a bit more.
