Deus Ex: HR - 30$ PC Pre-order (Standard edition - Steamworks)

another stupid question...GMG looks like it is based out of the UK and I am in the US...does this matter at all?

I realize the prices are in USD, I just didnt want get a different version of the game if that was possible.

When does GMG usually send keys out for pre-orders?
They do whenever Steam gives them out. They currently have Red Orchestra 2 keys, so you get it right away; but titles like Deus Ex: HR and Call of Juarez, for example, don't have keys yet, so you get them later.

Depends on the publisher, I guess. The Deus Ex 3 key is going out on release day. The key for Red Orchestra 2 on the other hand is handed out immediately and can be activated already.

DD but the game is Steamworks so you can register the serial on Steam if you so desire.
You have to register it on Steam.

Sadly I can't get the $5 referral because of when I signed up last time. :\
So, either make a new account or just use the 20% off code (SUMMER-SUNNY-20PEC, has to be all caps).

About to buy ... I can load this in Steam no problem right? (I'm in the US and A)

Core 2 duo 6600 2.40 ghz, 3mb ram and a 4870. I want this so bad for that price. Am I pushing it? The leak kinda ran crappy for me, but I'm not sure if it was that it was an unstable build or that my comp is just too old.
Anyone?

I just wish I knew for sure, coming off that build. Because man, going outside, it really slowed down...a lot when you could tell you were transitioning from one area to the next.

beta/apha builds tend to be unoptimized sometimes, heck ATI/NVIDIA spend weeks trying to optimize games which have just come out.

I definitely believe that. It's just that minimum specs for the game require a little higher ghz, and the bare minimum for GFX card is only slightly under my 4870. Just feels like I'm pushing it.

I bought it a bit ago and I have $5 credit waiting for me. I'm probably going to use it on SR3/Skyrim if/when they are put on the service. Also, if they are going to be Steamworks games.

Thanks to the OP and everyone who provided the vouchers! Now I can play Deus Ex: Human Revolution next weekend AND can invite my friend that's coming over for a HipHop Open Air to a Sushi place nearby. You are my heroes!

Forcing myself to read a few more previews before I bite the bullet though and blow $34.

34 dollars for a new release game, bro. It's also an amazing game, buy it.

Thanks Kuro Madoushi.

So 34 bucks for this game, and now with this referral link, I will get another 5 off of my next purchase?
