Deus Ex: HR - 30$ PC Pre-order (Standard edition - Steamworks)

I was gonna wait until I had the money and do the responsible thing, but fuck it, 20 euros off the Augmented edition price is something I cannot refuse.

Worth it for the soundtrack alone

What the hell is up with their site. I can't get on it on my desktop with either FF or chrome, but my phone loads it up nicely.

What a great deal! I just bought the Augmented Edition and can't wait to get my hands on this.

EDIT: And we have a winner.

<obsolete> As I already have the game I am giving away my code for Deus Ex GOTY from greenmangaming.com. The first person who PMs me gets it. :) </obsolete>

Im wondering whether I should pick up this for PC or PS3. Does anyone have an idea which platform is Deus Ex:HR is best optimized for? 360 is not an option...

Clearly the PS3 version will have the best optimization.

Quick question. When do we get sent our codes and how do we see them? And by codes, I mean CDkeys heh.

They'll most probably email them to you a few days before the game's release (so you can preload), or at worst when the game releases (August 23rd).

Any chance this will drop back back down to 28 dollars in the upcoming weeks? Need to get one for my brother...

It will be when the game releases on the 23rd. Greenman Gaming have never released anything early from my experiance.

Silly question: the site seems american based, does the Steam code works in Europe as well?

From their About page:

Green Man Gaming is a digital retailer of PC games. We sell games globally and have sold to over 89 countries. We're based in London, UK, and our offices are in Bloomsbury which sounds much more posh than it really is.

Since GMG can refund a game if it's not used I bought Call of Juarez: The Cartel. I'm now trying to get a refund but can't figure out how, all I can find in the game's page is "This game requires Steam(TM) in order to install and run and so cannot be traded or refunded."

That wasn't there when I bought it last month. Does that mean I can't and I'm stuck with this game?

I have no problem paying full price for a game like this. Put a pre-order in at Gamestop in order to get their bonus features. Slight edge over the ones that Amazon has, and I don't have to worry about it getting lost in the mail.

Core 2 duo 6600 2.40 ghz, 3mb ram and a 4870. I want this so bad for that price. Am I pushing it? The leak kinda ran crappy for me, but I'm not sure if it was that it was an unstable build or that my comp is just too old.

sorry, how do i activate it at steam? i'm at the purchase for myself step and i don't see anywhere i can enter the voucher code

Its a preorder, you'll get an email later with a CD key when the game is release that activates through Steam.

Use SUNNY-SAVER-20PEC. The others are older ones.

cool cool, i just bought it, so now i just need to wait for it to release? how do i go about adding it to steam? do i need to pre purchase on steam? or download from GMG and somehow magically it'll attach itself to steam?

edit: ok i see it says "this game requires steam (TM) to work", hope it'll work

You will get an email with the key, as already mentioned. You will also be able to look up the key in your account on GMG once the game's released.
To add a game to your Steam account, go to 'Games' -> 'Activate a Product on Steam', input the key and there you are.
