You can use the build in Steam FPS overlay, fraps, shadowplay, Riva Tuner (+msi afterburner).
Stuff like that annoys me especially when it's for a franchise I cherish, they don't recommend it because of an optional element?? Who cares if it's a great game, purely because it's got optional micro-transactions it should be given a bad review?!
Have a link? I'd rather not browse the hub, because those things are usually full of spoilers or toxic users.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Known Issues

Performance Issues
If you are experiencing performance issues, here are a few workarounds you can try out for now:
Update your drivers
Turn off MSAA
Turn off Contact Hardening Shadows
Keep Volumetric Lighting to on or off
If you have a 4GB GPU, use settings up to High

This issue is currently under investigation.
Crash at the Train Station
This issue is currently under investigation.
Here are workarounds which have worked for some users:

Turn off subtitles
Mouse Acceleration
This issue is currently under investigation.
Axis
The game's option menu doesn't display the settings correctly. Players should ignore what they are seeing in the menu and use what they are noticing in-game.
A fix is coming for this issue.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Breach - Final Reward
We have identified an issue where the final reward for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Breach is awarded to the player indefinitely, once he continues clearing maps after having completed the game.
As a temporary fix, this reward has been replaced. Once the issue is fully fixed, the correct reward will be put back in place. Users who have completed Breach in the meantime will retroactively receive the reward.
We will keep you updated on the status of this full fix.
Transmedia Digital Content
Your Digital OST Sampler, Novella, Art Book and Comic Book can be found by navigating to the folder using Windows Explorer. The files will be located here: \Steam\steamapps\common\Deus Ex Mankind Divided\Extras.
Holy shit at this game.
Just played some more Titanfall at Wild Hunt just to be sure it wasn't just my rig.
Those are running fine, yet on LOW preset at 1080p I get 21.3 FPS average and 13.5minimum in the bench. On low. Clock and temps are fine, usage is a bit low, but not THAT low.
Ridiculous. Game launched 4 hours ago and I have yet to make it past the tutorial.
Weirdly enough, the Steam Overlay isn't working for me.
hyperthreading on? i have a 2600K with HT on and game runs great for me, i have a gtx1070 though, but i doubt its the cpu thats giving issues
Seems going to windowed mode fixed the crash that everyone is getting in thesubway scene in prague
I also turned of subtitles as well just in case.
People are turning off sharpening? What? I've tried turn it off and Jezzess it looks blurry AF.

Also crashing at the same section others are, frustrating.
Well I deleted the game, reinstalling now. What a waste of a day. Have to go to work in a couple hours, all the time I wasted waiting and tweaking instead of playing. Bleh.
I don't even have subs on
Forced mouse acceleration? And all "PC gaming" sites failed to notice this shit.
And what is even more annoying is how long it takes to get back to that point to see if the newt thing you've done has fixed it. It plops you back to your last save, which has to be in the previous level. So you have the billion logos, the load into the tutorial, the load into the next level then the unskippable walk and talk to get to the crash point.

It looks horrendus imo. I can handle some sharpening but not as much as this game applies. It has to be only for performance reasons. I've toggled that on/off too (in the very short time I got to try it before errands became priority) and it makes a massive difference. Sharpening combined with Temporal AA is a good compromise compared to MSAA.
On a related note, what did the devs do with sharpening? I'm not sure I've seen this tech in a game before and read nothing about it in DX:MD leading up to release. Curious how they got it looking so well without significant compromises like TXAA does on its own.
Again, the lowest hitch is with me looking at whatever that is. Soft shadowing artifacting there is "nice" as well:
Should this be running at 40-60 on a GTX1080?
I'm definitely going with badly optimized here.
Can I change the audio language somehow?

Intel Core i5-750 @ 4GHz
EVGA GTX 970 SSC
FPS 55-75, scripted sequences are usually what make it dip below 60
We're you using double buffering before? That was probably the issue.GTX 980 with slight overclock, 4790k here.
First ran benchmark with GEForce experience settings, got 30 fps min. Went and changed a few settings down, ran again... 30 fps again.
Enabled triple buffering.
Gained 25 FPS?
Only done this once so far but that's pretty weird. Going to try again.
It's not working for me either (Win7, 1080, 6700K)Weirdly enough, the Steam Overlay isn't working for me.
