He's not even trying to hide the trolling. Sweettooth and James Sawyer Ford had more finesse
you gonna ignore AC shadows and star wars where they downplay the IQ and the many down grades of series s and upgrades as not a big deal but here omg series s is a blurry mess, when they will never say that about a game on switch 2 even ac shadows in HH mode running from 300p and everyone said it looks terrible was totally fine. in this video many areas things and areas look sharper on series s. heck in the video they were trying to sell us the iq is close to ps5.
I am a the executive itself… Respect please.

What a meltdown
you can watch video on youtube on a big screen it will give you a idea and the game looks like its being steamed from icloud, and gets worse late game. its mind boggling someone can call this IQ good. last of us 2 on ps4 pro looks vastly better then this.I took DF word on it, I don't have Switch 2 to judge myself.
Uh, what?Switch 2 gets the best version. PS5 remains dusty. Good job Capcom.
It's not like it's flawless or anything.Call it DLSS game changer is just a clickbait. It make his job but it's far from impressive or a godsend. Compromises are quite visible.
I'm wondering about it.this is not even proper dlss its dlss lite you can see break in fast movements every where and artifacting. also they were saying dlss lite falls apart in motion but not a word here.
He's trolling Subzero.Uh, what?
where's the ps4 pro comparison, beetlejuice?
Probably can't be bothered dealing with the slow ass HDD in it.tbh. I am still surprised that there's no PS4 version.
there's probably still a decent market for it (isn't it still like 50% of monthly PSN users that are still on PS4?)
It's not like it's flawless or anything.
But when compared to the still fresh in the memory 360p games on Switch 1, I think calling DLSS a 'game-changer' is rather fair.
I'm wondering about it.
It's similar to what's happening in Pragmata, where sometimes it looks like it uses a full DLSS SR CNN model, only to get very light edge treatment in another scene.
Is there something like dynamic DLSS in Pragmata - full DLSS model dropping to some version of DLSS Lite when GPU gets close to full utilisation?
Your video from post #52 is full of aliased edges that only get smoothed out after 0.25-0.5 seconds.
540p to 1080p on PC using DLSS SR CNN model is quicker than that - it doesn't take that long to anti-alias the edges.
What is it? A new DLSS version for Switch 2? Slower full DLSS 3.x SR?
In the DF video at the end of 22m26s there's a horizontal edge in the center of the screen that is anti-aliased, then it loses anti-aliasing for circa half a second and gets anti-aliased again. Another edge on the left side of the screen does the same thing (AAed - loses AA) and gets anti-aliased again in the beginning of 22m28s.

And what's going on with Oliver lately? He used to be more thorough.
What kind of analysis is that?
'about 540p'
'I think of the CNN variant'
Watching a 2-minute trailer told me exactly the same things.
'suspect PS5 is perhaps just using FSR1'
Incredibly informative...

I know it's on Capcom - they can't even show further levels in their videos.they apparently had a tough time with embargos, getting actual review codes, and Capcom being extremely limiting with what can be talked about pre-launch.
they mentioned it in the PS5/Xbox video I think... maybe it was the Switch 2 video, not sure.
Oh, yes I know.also, it's hard to get correct internal res numbers with DLSS, as you need basically frames that are untreated or you need to find ways to count recently disoccluded edges.

Oh, yes I know.
However, in RE9's case it's actually quite easy. I pixel counted few freeze-frames myself (they were 540p).
Would like to know for sure if there's DRS or not.
And I just wouldn't call it an 'analysis' - it's more like a simple comparison rather than an in-depth analysis.

I mean...play stupid games, win stupid prizes, I guess. I like to play around with them. And then he was gone..................
Can't believe I'm the first one!
Sorry.
Oh she's on crack in the game?
What narrative are you speaking of?So he is not agreeing with your narrative....... so he is wrong. Sounds totally reasonable.
That would be a cool option. I like that Cyberpunk 2077 has the option. And RE9 is fine on Switch 2 (graphics settings wise).
The only thing Capcom can realistically do to improve it is to simply offer a 40 fps option.
Fallout 4 also has a 30,40,60 fps option and the 40 is how I've been playing. Feels like a good medium and still looks goodThat would be a cool option. I like that Cyberpunk 2077 has the option.
I'll be the first to say that I really don't notice dips in the 45-60 zone.
It's a beautiful day. RE9 on the Switch 2 and…..

Wait he really have had the courage to say such DLSS at 360p on switch 2 is better upsampler than the ps5 IQ?
Very impressive. It really bodes good
He fucked around and found out. He was thread banned (like usual) and then was so upset that he opened a new thread. Basically spat in the mods face and not reading the room.I'm surprised he was banned ... And permed at that!

I'm just glad the banned happened after I set him to "ignore." I was tired of the pointless shitting on Switch 2.

No one here thinks that the Switch 2 version of anything is superior to any other platform. We are ok with the reduced frame rates and resolution. It's something we accept with 100% portability and less wattage use. But some just hate when others are happy with something different. Not sure why people getting erect to hate on the switch 2 port. It's well done and impressive
I shall be double dipping on ps5 (pro) and switch 2 myself (got the generation pack)

I'll take portability with reduced visuals while sitting on my back patio watching my Kings lose to the Oilers, over having my gaming tied to a single screen in the world at a time.
ML upscalers are going to have a heavy hit on the higher end or even mid to high hardware sells. And it's going to get worse from now on as technology advances.DLSS is certainly a game changer for the Nintendo hybrid system.
