Diablo IV |OT| Blessed Mother... Save Us

Death Trap is back I guess... missing lots of stuff and bad cooldown but have eldruin and shako, and I'm doing X (80) with about 12 min remaining.

Did the campaign with a paladin (had to pay respect to the hammerdin traditions) but not really feeling it, gonna probably change class before I get too invested, I've always been a minion class but things do change, what are you guys having fun with? Something not to heavy on equip farming as I'm loving the easy casual aspect of D4. Thanks

Playing as a Barbarian now for my first ever playthrough and reading this makes me think I shouldn't go with Paladin for my second class pick?

You should absolutely go with it, it just didn't click with me, but was a fun class, just not for me

what the hell. Been trying to get Aftermath aspect for my Rogue for days. Not a single one. Gambled for rings, etc.

edit: see? all you have to do is complain here. Got a perfect one right away. Thank you guys!

Barb spin to win was simple to put together and is a lot of fun. The dust devils add to the destruction.

I only had 4 XP tomes…most of the XP orbs came from tree and dungeon caches that I saved up. I opened 15 of those and used the four XP tomes.

Started at the highest difficult I could with that char (penetant)

Can't believe i am saying this..
But the game is fun👀

Holy shit this is near diablo 3 end level of fun.
Nothing from the OG game is in this.

Just like d3 day one vs end

Which is better? :pie_thinking:

ie: what stat(s) should I be looking at mostly?

That is suppling info on which is better as a piece of defensive equipment. Because the Magic gloves provide a flat increase to your Max Life it is giving you a higher defensive rating.
However you get strength (important for your barb) x8% fire damage multi (great if you are using fire based status on your attacks) and its giving you a reduction to your skill cool downs...which are all offensive stats. So you are still getting a decent amount of armor PLUS all the offensive stats (which the magic/blue gloves do not provide at all).

Stick with the Yellow gloves imo.

I'm running the campaign with a warlock and I'm also starting to get bored. I was going to try Paladin next, but sounds like I should consider otherwise!

I might go back to a Sorc or Rogue

This build is basically using a nuke to try swatting flies

Fucking hilarious 🤣

I'm still having fun with my Dread Claw warlock, but I've kind of hit a wall at Pit 82 or so, just a tad over T10 level. I do my runs at T9 because its faster and feels better, but I've been contemplating kitting out a different warlock build now just to try something different, and to see if I can push it all the way to T12.

Maybe I'll try that Apocalypse build I keep seeing other locks running around with....

So you guys are all good then? No one needs any help unlocking higher torment levels or completing the seasonal journey or killing Lilith too?
I just got a friend to kill Mephisto an hour before your post.
I think I unlocked all skill and paragon points... I'll check tomorrow if I need help with those. I didn't do much at T XII yet, so there are lots of stuff left to do.
With Aftermath aspect, my build came alive. I got to craft some decent gear as well. Lacking some damage for those protected bosses (butcher took me some time), and still get 1 shot or near death sometimes, but it's been manageable. A new Eldruin would be nice.
I need to unlock the new gems as well. Oh and gems are very hard to find/craft!

I need that astaroth unique feet drop.
So i can press dodge enable a skill.

I keep running belial picking loot table astaroth but i don't understand the nightmare dungeon astaroth path.

I just by accident got one

amalgamate 5 NMD sigils into an escalating NMD sigil and then do that

Bit of a weird question perhaps but I never find myself stuck in a menu doing err... menu things, whereas in Warframe there's often large swathes of time that I spent doing just that (claiming rewards, checking challenges, making sure builds are correct, leveling up, etc).

So should I be claiming things or doing other kinds of things rather than just playing the game? :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Man, the changes .. by the time I get the expansions, it's gonna feel so different than what I played last month, lol.

Just got to T11 with my Dread Claw Warlock. So fun. Clearing runs so fast.

Gohr fists or whatever they are called elude me, been upgrading common shit and keep getting everything but. Keeping my WW barb stuck on t9.

i just changed to this and it melts, i wonder if the numbers are bugged like they're speculating. the dmg is s tier, but your quite slow moving compared to god tiers like barb and sorc. i guess fit the jah rune in somehow.

edit: hmmm testing it more and bossing dope speedfarm still mediocre, could need some better pieces or something

The drop from Grigore, so fight him a lot and also amalgamate his boss mats.

Another very good source of Gohr's is to spec into the Lair Boss tree that says Grigore minions spawn when you open Helltide chests. You'll be swimming in Gohr's gloves.
