Yeah, I wouldn't expect a tip for an hour late cold pizza either. I was genuinely curious what the store's response is when a driver is put in a position where they can't expect a tip.

My job would cover it sometimes, but it depended on the day. For some of my friends, it didn't get covered.

At worst I always ended up with equatable to minimum wage. Can't speak for everyone.
