Keep it up, Digital Homicide. Popcorn must flow.
Not only did they threaten to sue over 100 users who had left bad reviews of their Games on the Steam Store, they sent a Subpoena to Valve to release the personal info of the users.
Valve said "Fuck you.", and took them off Steam for threatening their customers, rightfully so. Mind you purchasing them is the only thing that's been removed, if you previously purchased it, you still keep it in your library (though I honestly don't see why any sane person would do so).
Can't wait for the Jimquisition on this.
Can't wait for the Jimquisition on this.
Went from suing a guy who voiced his dislike of their so-called games to suing customers who did the same to now suing Valve for getting tired of their shit. These guys are running out of windmills to charge.
They don't have balls, but shit load of insanity. They have balls, I'll give them that.
I actually do support them suing people who were threatening them and their families. I also believe Valve should be forced by courts to release personal information of those users.

Suing anyone who trashed their games? Obviously bullshit.
..but on the same token, they are reacting to garbage spouted by random internet dudes. Most developers / publishers would just brush it off or ignore it completely....but DH take everything to heart and act like children.
You only need to listen to that interview with Jim Sterling to find out what they are all about.
As said, I only support them suing people spitting out personal threats.

No lawyer is going to touch this "case" with a 10-foot pole.
Those fucking fools really trying to commit digital suicide if they think they have any chance at all.

Iono... Zoe Quinn couldn't get anywhere with her case, why would theirs be different?
Seemed obvious to me that the poster is just saying that typically legal cases against online death threats don't get very far. Same goes for any other online harassment. There's not much (if any) precedent of the legal approach working in scenarios like this, so why spend the time and money? I don't want to speak for another poster but I don't think they're defending death threats so much as saying that taking legal action on an individual level here is a waste of resources. Not sure if you are trying to argue in favor of such threats? Don't really think there's an argument to be made about this. Death threats aren't acceptable.
I'm sorry, who is Zoe Quinn?

So I'm confused here. Digital Homicide is clearly in the right aren't they?
