Ninja Theory’s reboot of Capcom’s classic action series, DmC: Devil May Cry is set to arrive at the beginning of next year on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. A playable demo was announced in the middle of last month, and the game’s publisher has recently informed us that it’s currently scheduled to land on Xbox Live and the Playstation Network on Tuesday 20th/Wednesday 21st of November respectively. There’s a very small chance that this date may change… we’ll keep you updated.

It's free of charge, and you won't have to buy another game to play it.

I really feel I need to try it to make a complete decision on it. I hate what the story bits look like for the most part, and I've seen some videos of getting SSS-rank combos with the same attack over and over, but it's hard to tell if stuff was on easy mode or simply unfinished code, so I hope to get some better understanding from actually playing.

Rising plays as awesome as it looks, DMC does not look super awesome, but I've been surprised by the feel of actual gameplay versus videos before.

The PC version isn't coming out for another 2-3 months after the console release. When has Capcom ever released a PC demo for its games alongside the console ones?

I was skeptical at first, but after playing through both demos they had at NYCC this year, I'm a believer. The short snippet that I played made this a day 1 for me.

I've tried very hard to avoid the dmc hatewagon because I believe the gameplay is what matters the most, I'm not seeing anything too impressive from trailers and videos, but I'm hoping that I'll change my mind after playing for myself.

IIRC, Ninja Theory said they've already started the PC version; being done in-house. Can't be pressed to find the link at the moment.

All I know is that the demo impressions thread is going to be an annoying ass doozy.

I think they've said the PC version won't be too long after the console versions. (for what it's worth)

The PC version isn't the only one that matters but it does seem like it'll be the best version, especially given how people have been harping about 60FPS which the PC version is confirmed to have.

Might actually be somewhat of a good thing a lot of people's expectations for this are so low, should make for some fun reacions if the game turns out to be pretty good.

30 fps not an issue for me and if its perfectly locked i dont think people will really have an issue tbh.

I certainly don't have any issues with the console version running at 30fps, because I'm not going to play it.

Haven't played yet. No one I know got ZOE. Should look into it probably.
