I bought it. Played few matches. Have not touched it since. Not feeling it.
im starting to get why people find this game addicting. I just got through a game using soldier 76. AND KICKED FUCKING ASS. seriously so much fun. and hes just a standard soldier dude. Yet the ability to throw down heals combined with his ultra which is basically autoaim makes him very accessible. Also starting to get good with the orb guy as support. Lots of fun to throw down debuffs and heals.
I can see this game really taking over my life.

Not at all. I played the BETA and just assumed that I didn't put enough time into it. I was going to skip the game, but after every podcast and mainstream review showered so much love on the game, I had to give it a shot. I convinced another FPS buddy of mine to take the plunge too. We both walked away a little confused.
To be sure, the production values are outstanding. It took me a while to appreciate how fine-tuned the pick-up-and-play of the experience is. It's much like Hearthstone or heroes of the storm, Blizzard polished and streamlined something popular, making it totally compelling.
The lack of feature REALLY kills this game for me, though. The character designs are outstanding. The universe is colorful and rich. It's quite literally, Superheroes vs. Supervillains. However, you're only playing what amounts to Deathmatch and Domination with escort missions.
Near as I can tell, those cool Youtube cinematic shorts? Not in the game at all. You don't unlock them, which would've been very cool. The game is also pretty much PvP. No co-op. If you're sick of years of deathmahch, here yah go.

If I'm ever sad, that training video also perks me right up. How anyone in their right mind thought it was a good idea is beyond me, but bless their souls for unintentionally creating the funniest work training video of all time.

Actually my manager was chill as fuck. She made me stop cleaning up the displays one day and play some video games. It was slow that day, but it was also my first job so I didn't wanna come off as one of those "us gamers" kind of guys. I never got a training video, she preferred to just train me on the fly.
She ended up quitting after the Wii launch because of how badly our DM (and everyone involved with him) botched the launch. Ordering stores to take any amount of preorders for the system (as in any amount of people, not amount of systems). This was also the case with the PS3 launch which happened right around the same time IIRC, and she quit a couple months afterward, but not before managing to clean up some of the mess. She was replaced by a hardass who initially changed my schedule and didn't understand that I was going to college alongside this job, and it took an eternity for him to realize that and change it back.
Ahh, well then definitely a shame haha, with the right people that video is something special.

On topic, this game is great, but yeah people need to remember moderation, too much of anything is never healthy.
Just watched this video.....oh my god lol, she's surely reading from a script....so unnatural . So wrong. Was painful to listen to.
I actually have to commend her for doing it with a straight face.

IDK, this game is super fun, but it doesn't have the addictive hook like CSGO had on me. I can actually play Overwatch for a few matches and put it down.
A single CSGO match could take up to an hour or more. Once you are that committed to a single match, suddenly you find yourself justifying all of your free time to fit in those matches.
I think Overwatch is great for a person that wants a MP fix, but doesn't consume all of their time.

Yeah it was definitely a script designed to appeal the new "hip and coo"l crowd XD
But I agree, what I thinks makes it so funny is that she's totally into it and really trying to sell the whole thing.
